Disney Dec 1 and 2 - what to expect?

Is this a pretty uncrowded time? Will all the Christmas decorations be up? Is there a big ride that is traditionally closed? Any advice you have would be much appreciated - thank you!

I would think that is a great time to go. Dec 1st and 2nd are in the middle of the week so that is good. I try to avoid any weekend days as much as possible. Decorations should be in full swing and you will need to check the schedule to see what rides are closed but I would think they would be in full operation.

we have gone the 1st week of Dec 3 times and the crowds have been fine and the Xmas decor is up already the weather is a little ify sometimes great some times cold and rainy depends.

I am so glad you asked this question as we will be there those same days!!! We went last year during the same timeframe ( week after Thanksgiving ) on a Monday ( November 30th) and it was way busier than I had expected. I'm hoping that since this time we are going on a Wed- Thurs that it won't be quite so busy.
