Disney Deaths

i think the ghost "George" is actually in the HM cause i was talkin to cm about and he said he has actually confrounted guest and talked to him pretty weird

another story my mom told me this kid stuck his hands out on btmr and somehow got his finger caught and all his fingers were ripped off

This is thoroughly depressing!

Just a thought, if you were SO DISTRAUGHT that you were going to commit suicide...WHY would you chose to do it in DISNEY WORLD?!

"HEY! I'm not happy with my life! I think i'll just go jump off of the balcony of a hotel in the middle of Disney World!"

OH yeah, that's fulfilling.

THEY SHOULD OF NEVER LET A 4 YEAR OLD OM MISSION SPACE!!
why would thay do that, mabye the youngest age they're aloud to do that would be my guess,UM.......6 OR 7 [/QUOTE]

*this brings me to a point....i think they should judge whether your allowed to go on a ride by AGE not HEIGHT! i mean if your like 7 or something than your organs and things are ready to go onto some of these more advanced rides. it doesnt matter if you 4 feet tall. your inner organs may not be able to handle everything. idk.....just a thought.*

OK now I am kind of scared. There have been so many of these reports of heart conditions that no one knows about in kids and teens...

My mom's knew a guy from work,I think it was her friend,he was riding splash mountain with his little daughter. When it was time to get off,he wouldn't get off and the duaghter was like "Come On Daddy" But he didn't get off.Unfortuntly the ride gave him a heart attack and he died:/

Poor guy.Poor daughter=[

I think, if you want to make sure, make an appointment with your doctor. While you're there, discuss your uncertainty about the rides, and ask if you do have any conditions.

Youre paranoid. Why is this thread back? It was from two years ago.

Sure people die at Disney, because it's a real place, not a fantasy like some people think. If someone had a heartattack in some weird little town like...idk...Bootleg, Illinois (real place) it's not going to make history, or even the news.

Disney is a real place and of course there are going to be deaths there.

Jenny, please, calm down.
amykathleen2005 just had a simple question that runs along the same lines as Disney-related deaths. Give her a chance, and a space to breathe. Everyone get's worried sometimes. Sure, this thread is old, but, from what I know, there arent' any rules against reviving ages old threads.

You posted on another thread about how you're paranoid. People get paranoid over different things.

Wow, ok then. I am sure that other people do not bring up repeat questions so sorry about that. I was actually concerned because of the possibility of rides agitating unknown conditions, such as ToT and MS, which I doubt would happen in Bootleg.

Sorry, I've had a bad day. iGenie really got me agitated and defensive.

Sorry AmyKathleen2005

i heard that the reason they closed that Dumbo ( or something else, i can't remember) skyway thing in FL was because a worker died repairing it, but it happened a long time ago. not sure if it's true; it may just be a rumor. :confused3

No, they closed the Skyway because they couldn't use it very often because of weather and such. The use wasn't worth the upkeep.

A day before I went to Epcot, a little boy died on Mission: Space. He had an unknown heart condition and the ride wasn't closed when I went.

A few weeks before I went to Disneyland about 4 years ago, apparently BTMR had crashed and people had died, so it was closed the entire time I was there.

Yeah, anyone and everyone may have an unknown condition. Yeah, it's scary not knowing the unknown, but I think alot of people who go on some of these rides know they have a condition and not really seeing what their condition could do to them if they ride this ride. Also you have to realize people die everyday, we can't stop that. Yes, Doctors can save people, but they really can't stop a person from dying. Circle of Life. That person who died in bootleg won't get the publicity as the person who died at disney or any amusement park for that matter, because people want to see a company fail because of some screw up. People are drawn to it, and that's why the media will write about it. It's like an accident on a high way, even though you get mad because of the traffic because other people are slowing down to see the accident and you think you don't care what happen, but you look anyway. I do have heart problems in my family and I know one day I will have to stop riding those rides, but it's not going to keep me from going on the rides now. If I do die on a ride, at least I know I died happy. I know I may sound a little harsh, but just saying the truth.

I am pretty sure they moved the Skyway to Disneyland Paris...

i think he was tall enough to ride but still i agree that was totally his parents faught

Arghh.. How comes its his parents Fault?
The death was put down to an under lying heart problem, Do you seriously think his parent thought, Hm- theres every chance he'll die on this, but what the heck?
They'r in Disney Land/World.. You hardly think about the consequences when your there! You take a risk every time you go on an extreme ride.. It may trigger some unknown problem with your body.
His parents will be feeling guilty, yeah, but it wasnt entirely down to them!

I've already heard about most of these.

Apparently a man once decided to hop out of his boat on Splash Mountain before going down, needless to say, he died.
