Disney Customer Service is the BEST!

My son bought something called a String Thing when we were there last week. It is one of those things for the parades etc, that has a string on a motor with a black light--really cool. Costed $16 and broke the day we got home! So on the advice of someone here I called the Disney merchandising line and the first CM said no go without a receipt. Well, we bought it from a street vendor, so no receipt. She said call bakc with the UPC number and maybe they could help. Second CM I called back to give the UPC number was like "Just give me your address and I will send a replacement right out, no proof of purchase needed." How great is that?! Just a little extra Disney magic to make us want to go back even more.
