Disney Cruise Wedding Questions?

Hi All,

I was wondering if Disney bends at all on their wedding packages. Do they? We would like to get married on the ship, however there are only 5 of us going and we don't need a huge to do. Someone told me they start at $1800.00US for on ship, which is steep for only 5 people.

I already have my cruise booked (deposit down tonight) with Dreams Unlimited.

You should call DCL directly..as they only do a certain number of weddings on each cruise..your cruise wedding limit may already be reached not allowing you to be married on the cruise you already have booked.

Actually, call DFTW as they coordinate weddings both on property and on board. They do 3 weddings per cruise: 2 on board and 1 on Castaway Cay. They cost $2999. On the DFTW site, you can find the list of all you get for that fee. That is on top of your stateroom. Have your cruise confirmation # with you when you call DFTW so that if your date is still available, they can lock it in for you.

Keep us posted as you plan your DCL wedding so we can compare notes and share info. It's harder to find DCL wedding info than WDW wedding info online.

I have friends getting married on another cruise line. The $1800.00 may sound steap but it covers your marriage license fees (both FL & Bahamas-this one is like $300), cake, take home cake topper, flowers-about another $300, etc... Plus it's so worth it!

Be glad Disney does all this stuff for you. Are friends have to pay a fee if they want their ship to help them get their license. Yikes!
