Hi, we will be going on a Disney Cruise next year with my son who will be 14 and has Autism. I was wondering if he would be allowed to go into the Oceaneer Lab at 14? Would my daughter (who is 19, really looks 13-14) be allowed to go in with him and watch over him? This would be ideal. He would enjoy the kids club better than the teens club and he'll do great if his sister can be with him and help him.
Thanks :)

Disney has gotten very strict on ages in the clubs. Your daughter would not be allowed in any club -- they go by birth dates not appearance. She would qualify for the 18-21 year old group. I also doubt that they will let your son go into the oceaneer lab. They do have "open house" times that you will be able to let him go in if you are with him.

I can confirm what piper said. I called and this is what they told me. You can go in with him/her an hour before they open but you have to stay with them the entire time. I didnt think it was such a great thing because there would be no break at all on the trip for my husband or myself. And I dont think Mike would understand why his sisters got to do things and he couldnt. I have never been on a cruise and Disney was our first choice. This kinda stinks.I saw a shadow program http://www.alumnicruises.org/Autism/Autism Individual Booking/Autism_Ind_homepage.htm
not sure if this would help you out or not.
