Has anyone done the Disney cruise transfers from Fort Wilderness cabins?

I’m assuming they don’t come directly to your cabin to pick you up, and that we’d need to get to the Outpost first to meet the transfer, yes?

Trying to decide if I want to save money with the DCL Transfer (there’s only 3 of us this time, so it’s $135 vs $249 + tip for Happy Limo).

My experience with return transfers is they tell you to be off the ship super early (7:45am is what they told us last time) but that the buses don’t leave before 9am. Is that the case? What’s the latest one can be off the ship and not miss the Disney transfers? In the case of return, we’re going to the new Polynesian Tower after.

It was normal policy for a CM to pick you up in the FW van and take you to the Outpost to meet the bus for the airport, so I assume a Cruise would work the same. They've even picked us up at our campsite. You just have to make arrangements prior
