Disney Cruise site down again

Anyone know why the DCL site is down again?

Been down since at least Friday.

The reservation system is still down. Looks like you can look around the site, but not get into a price quote.

Grumbo . . . I had to laugh! I figured the site was down while they figured out how to increse the prices even more. You know, add another decimal place . . . After watching the prices rise on the opening day of the Reposition cruises, you would think it would have broken the algorithm right then.

Sick that I keep looking to see how much my cruise is going up. I guess I am just trying to convince myself that I got a good deal. Right.

They just did maintenance about 2 weeks ago. It may be they are changing prices to make up for the soda. LOL

Hey Grumbo, i was hoping perhaps they are rearranging staterooms for the CA-Fl Repo cruises for guests who has GTY!! and then trying to figure out how much staterooms they have left!!! I really would like to know where i am going to be!!!

You didn't read the blurb on the DCL site BMWDSNY?
They are going to be downgrading the gty rooms on the two repos due to "corporate" types. I'm just wondering if there will be any rooms left at all for those with "gtys".
If not I'll send you a postcard

Well you never know...Grumbo and his friend, jazzman are crazy!!!! LOL!!! I can never tell if they are kidding or serious, and I am sailing with them too!!!

I never like the idea of a GTY in the first place!! You never know what can happen with the ressies.

I know last week I tried to make a reservation online and I got as far as the page to enter my credit card. Everytime I entered my credit card number I got an error that it was an invalid number, try again. After about 4 tries I called DCL and was told that "we have had many people get that error when trying to enter their credit card". I almost told her since that is the most important thing on the site, paying for your cruise, you might want to look into getting that fixed. Hopefully that is one thing they are correcting.

What is the prayer for God to grant me patience...

I just got off the phone with a Disney CM and I right now want to pull the hair out of my head, makes me wonder if Disney ever really tapes those calls.

I called to see if the 3 other families that we are with are linked with us for dinner. The response was, yes ma'am you have early dining. After repeating it, she said yes ma'am you have early dining. I gave the names of the people we were with and she said yes they have early dining. Are you laughing your a** off yet or pulling your hair out?

So tomorrow I will call again and hope I get a CM that understands simple english.

Then I told her there was 16 of us and she said yes, ma'am the tables hold 10, then I went on to say (since I was annoyed at this point) That's not true since on our last cruise we were 13 at a large table. She then went on to say, yes the tables hold 10.

I'm done venting and I put it on this thread since this thread was open when I got off the phone.

I think it's safe to say that's a good bet. Really.

They were hoping to have the reservations part back online today, but you know how these things are - they take as long as they take, no shorter, no longer. Hard to predict.

At least they ARE working on it.
