Disney Cruise Reservations system down 8/6 at midnight; guessing this is just normal now?

Hi everyone - extremely new poster and first-time cruiser up late at day 75, and of course the system goes completely down! I guess I was lucky to get in most of the reservations I wanted! Anyone know if this is just par for the course these days?

Has happened multiple times when I have stayed up to checkin or book excursions. Disney opens their systems up at midnight for checkin and bookings and then also takes the system down at midnight for system updates. Seems like that would be an easy fix - do system updates a few hours later!

Thanks for that - it actually came back up for me about an hour later, so there was no trouble. Probably just have just cooked my jets and not posted at all!
