Disney Cruise question....s

Hi You will be hooked have just got back from doing our first 4 day cruise have previously done 2 x 3 day cruises and even though we had bad weather we still had a blast and am now looking at booking another Disney cruise We use ************* ask for Sandie she is very helpful.
Anyway we have had the secret porthole cabins and our recent cruise we went for an inside gty cat 12 and got given a cat 9.
We had our 2 teenage daughters with us and for the 4 days found the cabin fine, If I was going on a longer cruise I think having the Balcony would be great but for a shorter cruise we would rather have the extra bucks for spending. Anyway you will love everything about the ship the shows are amazing, Castaway cay is beautiful and everyone is just so friendly.
Good luck in booking and just remember this will be your first of many !!

Would not consider doing anything less than a 4night as it goes soooo quick

Just working out final costings as we want DxDDP for 10 nights too.

(Never done onsite and last year was v cheap and we got what we paid for - a v cheap and nasty hotel!!) SO although the overall cost is much higher than last year I have to keep remembering that its nearly ALL our food sorted and as we mainly drink soft drinks not too much extra for wine

At the moment the plan is 1 night offsite, then 4 night cruise, then 9 nights onsite.

I'll keep you updated!

Its a bit tongue in cheek really

Its a normal resort - Couples Sans Souci - a bit like a Sandals but cheaper and smaller - but it has a small nudist beach

But I've read you have to be careful because at 5pm it becomes a normal beach and all the tourist ships come past as its the best place to watch the sunset

We "MIGHT" give it a go - as long as we dont know anyone else there!!

I must admit I cant wait to 14 days in what all the reviews describe as paradise

Sounds perfect, I like an all over tan I have high fences and beagles on gaurd duty, but not sure about in public.

by the way, dont do a 3 nighter, it will be over in a flash, we done a 4 then a 7, next the ta which is 14, then the panama canal which is a 15.
Can you see a patern developing here

Cool, I read it and wondered if it was one of those go to the restaurants naked, check in naked, sort of places, I've never met anyone who has done that! (Only seen it on Channel 5, lol)

I always think as long as everyone else is naked it probably wouldn't be too bad, it's being the only naked person in a room that's a horrifying thought!

I've looked at that resort before and it does look like heaven - clothes or no clothes you'll have a wonderful time!

reading this thread has made me want to include a 4 night cruise for next years trip in may. i have a quote for the cruise from dcl but was wondering about who to book the flight and hotel stay with. want to stay onsite as free dining is available next may , is it best to book all parts separately? thanks

we did a disney cruise back in 08 and we are very lucky to be going again on the dream in oct 2011 and i have to say that despite all my husbands reservations about cruising in general, my worries about how the children would cope on the ship and if i would be sea sick it was totally fabulous

laying in the hammock on castaway cay really was like being in paradise, it was so relaxing and the only disturbance was the odd crew member stopping by to see if madam would like another cocktail to which the answer was usually you betcha
what really impressed us is that the crew really go that extra mile when it comes to looking after their guests once you're onboard the disney ship nothing was too much trouble and we can hardly wait to go again
