Yes. International sailings do not count as test cruises under the CSO. The question will be if the Magic is returning after the CSO expires, or if the CSO is struck down in its entirety in court. Please forgive me in case I have missed this somewhere but...will the Magic be required additional test cruises when it returns to the states?

The CDC updated it's weekend color status, Dream is still on Red so little chance of her doing a test cruise in the next 24 hours.
Very odd, there were claims that the whole "false-positive" incident was the week prior to the test cruise being cancelled. Tomorrow will be 14-days from that cancellation. I really thought a rescheduled test cruise would have happened at the least by today. If it doesn't sail in the next 1-2 days, then my money is betting they re-scheduled it to next week (after July 18th) on the possibility that they could just cancel it altogether as not-needed with the CSO changes potentially coming this weekend.
Very possible. I mean, at this point whether you agree with the way things are going on that lawsuit or not, you have to think why would a company do a test cruise that will cost them $ and have the chance of things going wrong if they don't have to do it any longer? My only issue with that plan is that the "wait and see" approach is almost certainly also tied into the lack of info coming from DCL on protocols. If DCL is waiting for July 18th, then we may also have to resign to the fact that we may not hear any news from them on the Aug/Sep sailings until after that date. The lack of communication is so frustrating.I think they're 100% betting on cancelling it altogether - assuming the 18th comes and goes and the CSO disappears. I actually wondered if the "rescheduling" was really necessary to begin with.... or if they read the tea leaves on where things were going in the lawsuit and decided it was best to skip it, rather than risk having it and having something go wrong.

Same boat so to speak. We are in Sept and I am stressing way too much on this. And the only protocol I really care about is limits to the kids club. I can live with just about anything else. I can't image how CamColt and the others on Aug 9th are handling it.Oh, the lack of communication is SO frustrating! I can't believe that people "checked in" on cruises the other day and still don't have any idea what the protocols will be! We're sailing in December and I'm stressed out...can't imagine how the August/September sailers are feeling!
Oh bother... guess I better change my prayers again!Yes. International sailings do not count as test cruises under the CSO. The question will be if the Magic is returning after the CSO expires, or if the CSO is struck down in its entirety in court.

Hmmm...another week or so...just waiting, waiting...I feel like I'm at the parks!!If the CSO still stands when it returns, then yes.
And if the Appellate court steps in before the 18th and keeps the CEO in place? Then what? Then a rest cruise will still be needed.
Which is why I'm beginning to think it is scheduled for next week. If the CSO remains, it sails Mon/Tues of next week. If it is revoked, then test cruise cancelled.Yes, presumably a test cruise would then be needed at that point.

Very interesting. Are you able to share where you heard this from? (understood if you can't)Supposedly, the Dream's test cruise is now scheduled for Saturday-Monady.

That was the original Judge...at the same time they appealed to the 11th Circuit, they also asked Judge Merryday to stay his own order to give the 11th circuit enough time to reply. He denied that request (rather strongly). 11th Circuit has not weighted in yet.https://www.foxbusiness.com/markets...vid-19-cruise-restrictions-governmental-powerI thought they already stepped in?
