In the midst of excitement and confusion, we did not pick up my daughter's luggage in the terminal after returning home on our Wonder 8-29 cruise. My hubby was sure it was on our cart and the porter indeed counted the number of bags that we set aside, but when we got to the Boardwalk, we realized Paige's bag was not there. I frantically called lost and found and they reported that Paige's bag was no where to be found. As they were soon closing their office to evacuate due to the approaching hurricane Frances, I of course thought the worst!! Then on Saturday morning, my mil called to say that she had got a call from a woman in Washington DC that mistakenly took Paige's bag, thinking it was her daughter's. She tried as well to call Lost and Found but they had already left. Thinking it best to keep the bag in her possession, it was in her honest and capable hands in DC.
As soon as Lost and Found was up and running again, Laura called to say that she arranged a pick-up in Dc and that Paige's back would be delivered ASAP to our home!! I can't thank DCL enough for expediting this and for the gracious woman in DC that went to the lengths she did to make sure Paige got her bag back as well!! Disney went beyond their call of duty this time and I can't thank Laura enough for making this happen. I love Disney!!
