We live overseas, but our book we did at the beginning of this year only took 2 weeks to arrive. The time before it took 5 weeks.
You get photos done by Shutters photographers - charactes, dinners etc. Then you go to the shutters computers and choose which photos you want on each page. Total number of photos you can put in it is approx 35. The book design and the Disney backgrounds cannot be changed. You finalise the book on the last night (or when you have enough photos) and it gets mailed out to you. We always start our book the first couple of days and then only have the last couple to put in on the last day/night - it gets crowded on the last night. Also it helps us keep track of how many more photos we need to get, and makes it easier to plan them.

Yes you can. You are not committed to anything until you finalise it. We often move things around as the week goes on and we find better/more suitable photos. We have only done it on the Fantasy. In that book there are pages for pirate night, dining rooms, Castaway Cay, as well as general pages.
It will be a different book - ours have Fantasy on the front, and are based around the Fantasy. I don't know if the will do a special Panama book or just a Wonder book. They don't change the book for Star Wars cruises.
