This is our 1st cruise, but my family loves WDW. I was wondering if they sell cruise line mugs onboard like they do in wdw hotels??

ARe you talking about the REFILLABLE MUGS? Yes, they do, even though all the soda is free and they supply you with papercups...I bought the fam the MUGS just as a SOUVENIR and I am looking at mine right now!!!

Now if you are talking about another type of MUG, I am not sure!

Yes!!! i am talking about the refillable mugs!! thanks!!

You are quite WELCOME and have the BEST time ever on the CRUISE!!!

Are they a similar price to the refillable mugs at the resorts or are they less since soda is included in the price of the cruise? And where are they sold?

Thanks!

I don't think that much...maybe 9 oz.....the walls of the mug are so thick that they really don't hold that much. I think they probably hold the same amount as the paper cups that they supply at the drink station.

I find them too bulky to carry around.....

I actually NEVER used them on the Cruise....I just used the papercups at the soda station. Kept my mugs for a souvenir and use them here at home for tea in the a.m.!!! Great picture of the soda station. $3.00 it is!!! :thumbsup2

They also have a glass mug. When we were on the Magic in September I got one. It's sold at the bars for $10 (I think) and comes filled with beer. I think it holds 20 oz. It's tall and skinny and said Disney Cruise Line with the DCL logo in blue and red. You can refill it throughout the whole cruise for $3.25 each time. I didn't find out about it until the last night, so the refilling part didn't do me any good, but I keep it in my freezer so I always have a frosty mug for pop or whatever my beverage of choice is at the time. :) Can't wait to get another one this Sept! :jumping1:

Here is a pic of the DCL glass beer mug.....it is next to a "tall" sized iced drink cup from Starbucks for size comparison.

The DCL beer mug hold 22 oz. if filled to the tippy top (I measured!)

Beware....these are very heavy to lug around all week but if you plan on drinking beer during the cruise it is well worth it.

My DH will be pleased that the beer glass can be refilled. He was disappointed when I told him that it was only soft drinks that were free not beer. At $3.25 for a refill that is great value. I will have to make sure that he carries it around otherwise I am sure it will end up in my bag - great pictures of the soda fountain and the glass.

mmouse37: Thanks for posting the pic! I hated mentioning the mug without having a pic to go with it, but I figured somebody out there must have one to post. :thumbsup2

I didn't even know they had mugs!!! Now that is definitely worth $3.00 to me to have and enjoy year round!!
Thanks again.....I always learn something new here. :cool1:

Just a question about using other mugs to fill up with soda?

I have a thermal Coke mug from the Other Cruise Lines (Starts with a C). Is there a Soda police around the drink station that would not allow me to use this for soda refills? Or is it OK to use your own?

Have no fear....you can use whatever mug you want...no one is going to say anything to you. I have seen all kinds of mugs/containers being used at the drink station. I ususally bring a large Dunkin Donuts or Starbuck clear plastic cup for use onboard...I like a lot of ice and those hold a good amount of ice and liquid and I love a lidded cup with straw....
