Disney Cruise Line discount question

My daughter is a CP now and is done August2. Can she book a cruise while she is still on the program (if there is cast member available space) and then travel after August 2? It looks like there is no set discount for cruises...just when space is available. Is this true?

If she goes seasonal or otherwise stays active after her program yes however if she is not an active cast member the day if the cruise she won't get the cast member rate.
