I would love to take a disney criuse, but my parents don't want to. They are scared of something bad happening.

How can I convince or persuade them to go on a disney cruise?

All I can really tell you, is I've been on two. I've never even been spoken to by a stranger while I spent countless hours wandering the ship.
But, because there is technically no curfew (so you could wander the ship at lik 3 AM if you wanted to) you should take the responsible route and discuss your own personal curfew.

The best advice I can give you is to wait until you're old enough to get in the Teen Club (Aloft/The Stack) because I hated it when I went when I was 12. The Teen Club is fun, and you'll be less liekly to be wandering alone (you'll make friends).

Maybe read the Cruise Board (there is a Cruise board, right?) for some suggestions. Because I am not sure (I was never on a cruise).

Even if I was 15, my parents wouldn't trust me to be alone. I have NEVER done anyting wrong, its just they don't trust other people.

I don't know if I should call you Brit or Emma but anyway it's quite safe and disney is very good at keeping everyone safe and that you can get a beeper to give to your parets for extra safety. I'm going on one in exactly one month so I really don't know yet but I'll tel you when I get back from it.

Trust me, Disney has a lower record of people being attacked than most cruise lines.
You'd be safe.
I mean, if you're following good curfews, you're probably going to be surrounded by tons of people and cast members. So if someone went after you, you'd pretty much have an easy time to alert other people.

Now, Disney Cruises are expensive, so my next advice probably won't do you much help xD. Suggest bringing a friend along, or someone who could do stuff with you (like an older cousin?)

The beepers are usually only distributed to the younger ones (12 and under).
I found them a pain. They take your card so you can't leave (I mean, you can't get into your stateroom without it) and when you decide to leave they have to wait and alert your parents.
My parents didn't give a crap about where I was going.

I know that Disney is safe, but my parents are like "everyone will hurt you. Blah. Blah. Blah."

People are not poor because they haven't been to Disney. That's rude to say that they are.

I think it's still rude to say that.

I mean, even if I told someone that I was poor, I wuoldn't want them going around on the internet saying it.

I have never been on a cruise so I can't really say much all I can say is this:

If your parents don't want to go then it is probably best if you just ask them to think about it. Keep pushing them, they will just get annoyed. Give them a list of positive things saying how careful you will be, and you will check in with them every so often, ect. But still tell them you understand why they are worried and that you will take the necessary precaustions. If they still say no, give them time. They are the adults, it is their decision. Keep asking them, it will only show them maybe you are not mature enough to be on the cruise by yourself. ** I am not calling you immature, I don't know you, I am just saying, bugging them is not going to show them that you can handle a cruise***

I have only asked them if we can go on a cruise once.
I just asked them and they said they were scared about other people.

That's fine I was just saying don't start bugging them. :)

Keep your phone with you at all times and insure them that it is going to stay on.
Mickey isn't going to hurt you. ;)
You don't have to wander alone. Tell your parents that if they want, they can come along (I guess not to the Teen Clubs or anything).
I've been on Disney Cruises with my family a few times. Last time I went I was 11 (now 13) and my parents let me go all around and explore, but I had my phone with me so they knew I would be perfectly fine, and I was.

I Have Been On 9 Disney Cruises (i know my dad is like a fanatic lol)
Me and my brother who is 11 (and im 15 LOL ) we always walk around alone together!
Just tell them that no one has died on the Disney Cruise unlike other cruise lines also there are always ppl that work there walking around so nothing can go wrong
THey are so much fun!!! You can check out the trip reports on The Cruise Board =)
