Im going on the cruise in october and i want to get my hair braided but i was wondering how much a full head would cost to get done on the cruise ???

does anybody know ??? thanksss :thumbsup2

jus to let you kno hair braiding hurts because they pull it REALLY REALLY tight. But i loved how it looked when it was done. I really dont remeber how much it costs, but orbaly somewhere around $10-$15

i never been on a cruise but i guess it would be pretty expensive. i bet it would be cheaper to go to a salon. jmho! :confused3 :goodvibes

ive doen it twoce they do it by the type of braid and length of hair.
*NOTE* if you do get it braided wait till you get to castaway cay if you get it done on nassau or the ship youll pay a lot more....plus depeneding on when you do toC.C. it ould last longer after the cruise.

i remember i was like 8 and i got it done...i cried..it hurt!

well i got my whole head braided. and well saying since i have a nice big bunch of hair on my head i got 92 braids. and they paid like some amount per braid. so it was like 100-200+ range. and i took four hours. but it didn't hurt that bad cuz it wasn't like the cornrows. but i loved how it turned out and you could still wash it normally and go swimming and stuff so it was really fun.

Kaitlyn, i wouldn't know much about this because i'm guy and i don't go for the whole hairbraiding look, but I think your better of having it done on one of the islands because as i'm sure you know it's alot cheaper and they've been doing it alot longer lol, i hope you enjoy your cruise and out of interest what crue will it be?
all the best

Well-
I've had the thing done, the hair wrap. I think THAT was a dollar an inch.
So, for the braids, it's probably a dollar a braid or a dollar for every inch on every braid?
I'm not sure, whatever they said is probably more reliable.
You can get it done on the boat, they ladies are very friendly, I think they were from the area and were easy to book. You can get your hair braided in Nassau, but I definately wouldn't recommend it. There are these ladies, dressed like hookers, carrying their kid in one arm, over their fake Prada, a easy mac and a hair brush in the other hand yelling 'HANDSOME MAN WANT YOUR HAIR BRAIDED?!' to a man with very little hair.

I had 3 braids done on the Dream last week. Not corn rows just regular tiny braids. It was $6 total - $2 a braid. Big mistake!!! I just took them out less than a week later and ick - what little hair she braided is breaking and falling out. Never again! She used what looked like Vaseline to smooth the hair down (I have long wavy hair that's not damaged at all) but now I'm wondering if that was Vaseline or something else? Does anyone know? Has anyone had the same thing happen? I'm scared to take my 9 year old daughter's out, and she has 4 braids!! It took me 2 hours to get mine out, as it it were knotted, not braided. I'm a brunette and I find it looks much better on blondes anyway. I was just in the mood, being in the Bahamas and all!
