Disney Cruise First Timer - How do you get an 8AS room?

Yes they are all in the front and no, they are not all handicapped. Not sure how many are handicapped. I would hope Disney just let's those who need a handicapped room book them, but don't know since we don't need one.
None are designed as handicapped. The prevailing assumption is that they were originally designed to be HA, but something didn't make spec.

We were able to secure this room type in the "guaranteed" category. June 2020. First time cruising for everyone except me. And everyone's first Disney cruise. Luck of the draw which version we will get. We have young kids so floor space for them to play is more important to us than a split bathroom. Thanks to all.

I may be mislabeling it, but I mean this one.

These rooms are amazing. We had two connecting rooms on the Dream for 3 adults and 3 kids in 2017. We had so much space, my husband refuses to stay in any other room now! We booked I think about 4 months before the cruise.

Would love to try one but with them being at the front of the ship I am afraid some of my family couldn't handle the motion with it.

It was very windy on our cruise, and I’m not going to lie, we definitely could feel the motion in the room.
