Disney crowds in October??

We are taking our first family vacation to WDW the first week of October. I am very excited, as I have only ever been in the peak summer months. So, needless to say, I have no idea what to expect as far as crowds. I know that it will be less than in June/July/August. Can anyone give me any input as to what to expect as far as crowds in October? We will be going 10/3-10-7 and it will be me, my husband, and our kids- a girl (9) and a boy (5 months).
