Disney Crocs--Jibbetz in Mickey holes?

We are a big Crocs family and my daughter especially likes the Mary Janes ones. I saw they have Minne ones now, but wonder--w/the crocs that have the Mickey ear shaped holes, can you still use Jibbetz? I'm assuming the hole is too big considering we've lost Jibbetz even off the regular holes. She needs red ones and I'd love to get her the Minnie ones instead of the plain ones, but I think she'd miss being able to put at least a couple Jibbetz in.

The jibbits will not stay in the mickey icon holes. I believe that the jibbits site states that you should not use them in those type of crocs. I let my kids put jibbits in, but eventually they lost them. They seem to be fine just having the mickey icon.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Too bad they don't make one or two "regular" holes so she could slap a princess or two on them ;) .

Here's what we did to keep from losing jibbitz in the Disney crocs (we do it with reg crocs, too!) Go to a hardware store (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) and take the jibbitz with you. Buy a round, rubber washer to fit over the part of the jibbitz that sticks in the shoe. Stick the jibbitz in the hole, put the washer on the part that sticks in the hole, and presto ! No more lost jibbitz ! We've been doing this for 2 years, and haven't lost a jibbitz since we started doing it. Good luck.

Thats a really good idea. I am wanting to get some Mickey Crocs for the summer for myself and my daughter... thanks for the tip! :lovestruc

The minnie jane mickey heads are smaller than the regular mickey crocs, therefore jibbitz stay with no problems! My dd has a pair of minnie janes and hasn't lost a jibbitz yet!

We had good luck with covering the back of the jibbitz with moleskin, sticky side on the jibbitz back once it's in the mousehead hole. That way it doesn't rub anywhere on my kids' feet. We haven't lost one doing that, either. We also noticed that the holes for the mousehead shapes get progressively larger w/the shoe size, so for very small crocs, the jibbitz stay in just fine. It's those bigger kids w/bigger feet that we had trouble with.

We haven't had a problem losing them from the kids Disney Crocs. They did say when we bought them that they were fine for the kids ones and we haven't lost any. YOu wouldn't use them in the adult ones though.

We bought the Mickey's for our sons in a place in Branson, MO. They guy there had some type of hole puncher and made them each a few holes between the Mickey hole. It worked great and you could still see the Mickey holes. He even did it to my Athens flip flops. (BTW- I think it was some sort of woodworking tool that was sized appropriately)
