I am wanting to have my hair and make up down for my wedding day.

Unfortunately I wont be able to get to a practice session for my hair so I am having my hairdresser do some designs at home and take some pictures. Do you think if i show these to the hairdresser on the day they will be able to re-create as near as possible??

Also what is the make up like? I don't want to be plied with thick make up as I don't normally wear anything but i would like something for my big day, what have you experiences been like?

Also with regard to booking of disney cosmetology do I have to contact them or will my CM do this?? I noticed there a bit on the intimate booking sheet that asks about the cosmetology services.

Thanks
Lisa

Lisa - Disney Cosmo is wonderful. They will be able to recreate any style you show them no problem. I also didn't have a trial run, but they did a great job on my hair. As for the make up, I hardly ever wear make up either, so it felt like the make up was caked on, but only becauase I am not used to having so much make up on. I certainly didn't look like I was over done. I scheduled my cosmo appointment with my EM. I just told him how many people would be getting hair and make up done, and he scheduled them.

Lisa - ditto to everything Helen said.

Disney Cosmo are great - they don't plough it on, they use MAC make-up which I love and I never felt that if I smiled my face would crack ;)

They work really well if you show them piccies they'll try and follow as closely as possible.

My BM's had not had trials and their hair looked just perfect :)

Thanks for the assurance girlies, much appreciated.

Now i've just got to find somewhere on a budget to have my dinner.

Orr Errr, its come out twice.

I had to add my two sense as well. I LOVED Disney cosmo!!! I was so afraid to get my hair done. I wanted to look like myself on my wedding day and was afraid by getting my hair done, it would look too "done". If you know what I mean. BUT Disney cosmo did a MAGNIFICENT job. The stylist was wonderful! And the gentleman who did my makeup (with MAC my FAVORITE) did a fantastic job. I felt it look natural, and pretty. He was telling me all about the celebs (Kelly Ripa, Regis, etc) he does when they go to Disney...so you are safe in their hands! Best of luck. I am confident they will do a terrific job!

I hate to cut to the chase and be very cheeky but can I be so bold as to inquire on the price! Is it expensive?
Many thanks
Sharon

Hair is $50, make up is $45. Unless its for the early morning MK photo session in which case having your hair and make up done will cost you $150.

I have to agree with everyone! I had my hair, nails, and maek-up done on the day of my wedding, without a trial run. I had a pearl bunholder I wanted to use and no other input, and disney cosmo did a great job. In fact, I had a reception at home later and had them copy the hairdo The makeup was great. I would make sure to ask for extra lipstick for the pictures. I got a little tiny bit on a brush, not nearly enough to retouch what I had licked off. But overall they were great. i also had the hair and makeup done at $4:30 AM (ugh!!) for the castle photo session, and that was great as well.
