Disney Confessions....

1. When DD went to preschool she didn't know any nursery rhymes.. When the teacher asked her what songs she knew she sang her 10 different disney songs!!!! When I teacher told me, I was the proudest parent alive!

2. Listen to park music EVERYDAY! DH jokes that spending $100 for "a musical history of disneyland" was the best $100 he ever spent

I tell him 7 1/2 hours of disney music is not enough... ;-)

3. There is a least one disney item in every room in my home! And in my car..

4. My family dresses in disney clothing ... Including the dog!

5. I let DD return non-disney gifts she gets for Xmas and birthday.. For disney ones..

6. My holiday decor is disney themed ... And disney themed only!

7. I don't own a coat that does not have Mickey on it..

That's it for now.. I'm sure there is much more..

My friends wife HATESSSSSS Disney & he's a huge fan too. He has to bribe her w/ petty experience to get her to go. She is SO rude about Disney. Who could hate the mouse?!

OK, as a result of this thread I have downloaded the Mouseworld, Sorcerer Radio and Live365 apps and am listening to DIlluninations. My work day is better already. Great thread OP!

YAY!!!! I'm glad you enjoy it. I discovered it last year & am obsessed. Listen to it on my iphone thru car speakers on my long commute too.

DIlluminations is my fave stations out of them all

My flow chart isn't much, I just use Word and set a table for the number of days we are there by the parks.

Really I just use most everything off of EasyWDW and customize a few things. I don't much care about temps or specific parades if I see them I see them.

Actually last time I went I just took a printout of that months calendar with me.

(So for this next trip it's 5 columns wide by 8 rows high. The Day column, then the 4 parks, I didn't do a DTD one this time. And Sunday through Saturday for the down plus the header listing the parks. Then right now rough notes on the bottom like pre-thoughts on which park which day and which we might try and do 4-1 depending on weather.)


I love my Disney Recycle bags. I've absolutely gotten my monies worth out of them and no one seems to realize I'm carrying around Mickey Mouse.

Thanks!! It is a personalized plate...I know when I requested it thru our Secretary of State office when I had to renew my license plates, I thought for sure it would have been taken, but it wasn't!!! It's mine forever!!!!

WDW press penny app

Can you tell me the name of this app? I have been looking for one, but there doesn't seem to be any available for Android. At least with the name of it, I can do a specific search.

* I always have at least one WDW trip booked. It gets me through work days thinking about what I'm working to pay for.

* Every day I am on Disney's website "running the numbers" for all sorts of configurations of trips.

* I go through all our pennies and take out all the pre-1982 ones to clean and polish for my Disney pressed penny collection. I have more shiny copper pennies than WDW has machines, but I'll never stop.

* Several times a day I check the wait time on just about every ride in WDW on my "Lines" app.

* I read trip reports here and Google for pictures at WDW so I can enjoy other people's trips.

* I bought a Disney diaper bag and I am 49 with all grown children. I do use it when I babysit one of the grandchildren.

* Nearly every purchase I make (other than necessities) somehow relates to Disney

* I'm considering buying a Duffy Bear, complete with wardrobe. Not for my grandchildren, but for myself.

* I often make fictitious custom touring plans based on different days and parks just for the fun of it.

* And the biggest confession of all .... I uprooted my entire family and moved to Florida to be close to WDW.

I justify all this to myself by saying, "At least I'm not an alcoholic, gambler, or drug addict. "

My Disney Confession is: every weekend morning I turn put YouTube on my smart tv and watch Stacey's "must do's"!! I also found get videos on the Disney rides in hd and some shows in hd!!! To list a few: haunted mansion, potc, splash mt, wishes, fantasmic

On my way to work in the morning, I will listen to the weather and traffic for Orlando on Sirius radio and imagine I'm driving to WDW instead of work. I live in ohio, so imagining the warm sunshine for a few minutes while driving in the cold winter here makes my day a little better.
