After a rotten couple of months (lost my mum :sad1: ) my wonderful hubby has agreed to a disney trip this year to try and cheer me and my son up so the planning commenced today  We went two years ago, and I remember getting the best rates booking directly through disney in the US and paying in $, but I am a little rusty (or i has changed?) and when I tried to view the US offers it automatically redirects me to the UK site. In 2010 we stayed concierge SL at GF for our wedding anniversary at 40% off rack, but the prices are horrifying me I am seeing today... looks like we will have to pay more to stay at a moderate than we did then!

Hello Haveadisneyday! So sorry about your mum  I do hope that your holiday (and the holiday planning) goes some way to cheering you all up a little!

You can still book via Disney.com, you just need to select the US as your location (it will auto direct you to .co.uk). I think this can be found at the bottom left of the landing page.

Afraid I can't answer as to whether you'll get a better deal on there but fingers crossed for you .....

Thank you (for the hiug and the info!) :thumbsup2 I will try that- probably no better but at least I feel I have tried all avenues :upsidedow

Welcome to the boards :)
I have looked around both at the disney.com site for the USA and for people in the UK. I have found out that people from the UK booking at the UK site gets better deals than people booking on the USA site.
