Disney College Program?

I recently just applied online for the Disney College Program for an internship at WDW and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it? I'm currently in college for hotel/restaurant management. I have a phone interview Tuesday, I'm a little nervous though. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea how it works!


Also, for those who have gone through the CP, someone mentioned to me that they would never do this program because it would "ruin the magic". I don't think that would be the case for me though. But for those who have already experienced this, what is your opinion on this? Does it ruin the magic?

Hi there!! I just completed my CP back in August and I thought it was alot of fun!!!

The phone interview wasn't too bad at all. Just prepare yourself about 10 mins before they call, relax, and just speak from your heart. It also doesn't hurt to have a copy of your resume handy while you go through your interview.

I roomed with a girl from PA who was going to school for hospitality management and she was placed at one of the resorts in Bell Services and she liked it. Talk about what you're going to school for in your interview[if they ask about it]. What roles did you check off on your role checklist (like whats your first choice for what you would like to do on your college program, your second, and so on and so forth).

I was a little apprehensive at first about the CP ruining the magic but I thought it made me love the magic so much more (working in the magic kingdom was a real treat and an adventure for me. I liked it there the most). Plus you got to see the ins and outs of how Disney operates. its so cool!!!

No worries, just be yourself and continue to appreciate Disney. You'll do great. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
