DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM: Food Edition 2013

HELLO ALL!
I am Holly and I am a cast member on the Disney College Program. This is my second program. My first program was in 2012 Spring Advantage in merchandise at Once Upon a Toy, Fun Finds, and Mickey's Pantry at Downtown Disney.
THIS program, however, I am in attractions in Magic Kingdom
I work at Space Mountain, being your helping hand to go into outer space!

Anyways, I decided that I eat at the parks enough, and take photos of it all the time for my currently pregnant sister to virtually enjoy, that I should post it on the DIS!

This will be randomly updated whenever I go to a quick service or a sit down. I will also include some places that I have eaten at in the past few weeks.

This is from August 2013 until early January 2014.

Today I had a 'me' day. It was a me party, a party by myself.

I decided, because it is my day off, that I should go enjoy Food and Wine festival! As I am not yet 21, I just enjoyed the food and laughed at the tipsy guests walking around the showcase. A lot got annoying.

I wanted to get a passport to stamp around the world but couldn't find one until I was almost done, so I only got two stamps.

To start out, I walked around and decided that Mexico looked delicious.

I fought between the shrimp taco and the Taco de Rib-eye. I decided on the rib eye!

Description is: Taco de Rib-Eye with Salsa de Chipolte.

It was VERY good. It wasn't spicy at all, but had a nice after taste. Very good but messy, because of the watery salsa. I give it an 8 out of 10.

Next up was Singapore! I got the Mahi Mahi.

Seared Mahi Mahi with Jasmine Rice & "Singa" Sauce

This was pretty good, had a nice coconut-y taste afterwards. I probably wouldn't try it again though, but I love Mahi and it was well cooked.
7 out of 10.

I specifically stopped in Florida just for the beef sliders because I was curious if the taste would differ from any other burger. It didn't. It was very well cooked though and I would order it at a restaurant.

I took the pickles off.
Florida: Florida Grass Fed Beef Slider with Monterey Jack and Sweet & Hot Pickles
I give it a 8 out of 10, but I could have gotten a burger anywhere.

JAPAN:
I knew that I wanted something in Japan because I LOVE sushi. The spicy hand roll was the first thing I picked when I went up there and decided to order before I second-guessed myself.

I give it a 15 out of 10. It was amazing to me. I wanted so badly to go back and grab another one. I think I drooled while eating it!


Next I approached New Zealand and got the Mussels

Steamed Green Lip Mussels with Garlic Butter & Toasted Bread Crumbs.
They were pretty good but I prefer those smaller mussels you get from a restaurant more. These looked like oysters when they gave them to me because of their size!
I give it 6 out of 10.

To end this day, I stopped at Hawaii.

Tuna Poke with Seaweed Salad & Lotus Root Chip.
SO YUM. 10/10. I love anything tuna, it is my favorite fish, and seaweed salad compliments it perfectly.


I have also a few weeks ago tried the Italy Ravioli and the Belgium waffle. I will post some info on that once i find the photos!

That's awesome! I was on the college program in 99 & 00. My friend worked @ Space mt Arcade I'm going in Dec maybe I'll "see" you I worked in Fantasyland attractions in 2000. Have an awesome time!

Good news! I will finally be updating tonight. I'm off today and will be going to Epcot to try more food
