Does anyone know the date that I can make a ressie for AK or similar places? I know non home resorts are 7 months but does that go for non dvc places as well?

no - 11th month - I was recently told (here bytheway) that for the II it can be 2 years.

the 7th month is only for a DVC resort had is not your home resort.

Remember that once you make a reservation outside DVC those points cannot be brought back to DVC resorts if you cancel.
