Disney Collecting?

I was just wondering if you guys liked collecting anything on your trips to the world. I can remember when i was little my mother would let us each pick up one statue every year we went down. My father gets new shot glass every time we visit. I read on one of the trip reports about someone who goes into mexico in EPCOT and gets on of those hand painted animals before it's painted and has it sent back to the room once the artist is done and opens it once they get home. I am looking for a new tradition to start on my trip down this august. any ideas?

My 18 year old DS started collecting pins when he was 9 or 10. We spend so much money on "his" collecting that we can't afford any other collections!! lol It is a lot of fun though!

every year since 2001 I've collected the Disney toy buses they sell one for every year and they are all different they do the same with toy 18 wheelers you can put little die cast cars in them they usually have a WDW design on one side and a DLR design on the other they are neat little die cast toys and now they are starting to do it with planes as well

I am obsessed with collection vinylmations, since about two years ago.
I have an enormous collectiion, and i have quite a few 9 inch ones.
I save up ALL my money for it!

Yup, pins and vinylmations rule my collections. I usually try to pick up items that remind me of the specific trip I'm going on...(like things with the year, restaurants we ate at, parks/rides I tried, which resort we stayed at, celebrating a holiday, etc.) Have fun!
