I think this is the right forum to ask this in.

What the the best/your favourite disney only cocktails you have come across at the world?

By disney only i am meaning please don't include the cocktails that you get everywhere in the world (tequila sunrise, long island ice tea, etc) only those that are disney "exclusive"

Welcome to the Dis Ringmaster:) Long-time WDW visitors will tell you that many of the cocktails unique to individual spots at Disney have been eliminated in favor of a more universal menu. There are still some specialties and I'd recommend the Lapu Lapu at the Poly. It's a pineapple & rum concoction that is served in a hollowed-out pineapple. They're a bit pricey--around $11-$12, but they are pretty large and somewhat potent. I believe you can also order the drink in a cup and it's a little cheaper that way.:earsboy:

thats actually a lot cheaper than i was expecting, i was expecting cocktails to be around double that price. lol.

A lot of places serve the same stuff. In fact there might be a main mixed drink menu used by the majority of restaurants. So, I'll try to pick out some of my favorites that aren't widely available.

MK:
-Dry! Sorry...

Epcot:
-France: The Grand Marnier slush or the Gray Goose Lemonade. Not something you get everyday.
-Norway: Kringla Bakery: The Viking coffee is delicious, but it's a spanish/irish coffee. Go Vikes!

DHS:
-Brown Derby: I remember there being a couple of good drinks here. If you like martinis, try The Derby Martini. I also remember my wife getting an alcoholic shake of some kind, but I don't know if they changed their drink menu since then.

AK:
-Yak & Yeti: If you like banana, the Big Bamboo is good. I think it has Malibu in it as well. I also seem to recall there is a counter service beverage area so you don't have to sit down and eat here.

I'll keep thinking and let you know if I come across any others. Cheers!

the grey goose lemonade sounds quite tempting

The Lapu Lapu is really good, but it doesn't seem like you get as much as it looks! They must just carve a small amount out of that pineapple!:rotfl:

One of my favorite subjects!
I've had the Lapu Lapu, and while it was cool drinking out of the pineapple, it was a one time thing for me. I prefer the Island Sunset at the Tambu Lounge at the Poly. It's a tasty, fluffy orange drink.

The Grand Marnier Slush in France is AMAZING. It's pricey, but it's WDW! Totally worth the splurge to have during Illuminations. (The last time I ordered one at night, they put in a little light-up swizzle stick!)

The Territory Lounge in WL has a "Western Sunset" that is pretty tasty, also. Reminded me of a Long Island Iced Tea, but not as strong.

Anything good to order at AKL since that is where I'll be staying next weekend?

-France: The Grand Marnier slush or the Gray Goose Lemonade. Not something you get everyday.

The Grey Goose Lemon slush is one of my favorites. Also, at EPCOT in Italy there is a wine shop that serves a refreshing Bellini (Prosecco -Italian sparkling white wine- and peach nectar). They are amazing.

AK-Yak and Yeti--Yak Attack

Epcot-LeCellier--chocolate martini

Poly-Ohana--Lapu Lapu or Backscratcher

Personally the lapu lapu almost killed me!!

When we went to Boma in Feb 2009 I had the most wonderful cocktail of my life - strawberry basil lemonade. Sadly it was not on the menu in October but possibly seasonal?
A close second is the F&W at EPCOT offering of pomegranite kir.............

Pina Colava-pina colada and strawberry daquari layered- The Poly

Chocolate Martini- Mama Melrose

Grand Mariner Slush-France

Octopuss Juice, pina colada made with Grand Mariner so good!- Coral Reef

I didnt care for the lapu lapu that sucker is strong! I diluted it with extra pinapple juice and still didnt like it!

Cotton Tini-martini with fruit juice poured over cotton candy so yummy!-Trex

When I was at the PrimeTime cafe, I ordered a magical starlight cocktail somethingorother at the bar, and it was delicious! i just looked on the menu on allears.com though, and it doesn't look like it's on there. I was there in May, for reference. Yum yum!

The lapu lapu was VERY GOOD. I also had something from the pool bar at the POLY that had Chambord in it....O.M.G. YUMMO!!! I CAN'T WAIT TILL MAY!!!

My favorite for the last several years has been the Italian Margarita, it's made with Grappa and Limoncello Liquor (Tasty and refreshing)

My favorite is any of the specialty margaritas at the tequila cave inside the Mexico attraction at Epcot....soooo goood!

The Welsh Dragon at Rose & Crown in the UK at Epcot and you even get to keep the glass

Lost on Safari at the Dawa Bar in Animal Kingdom is good! I also like the Hollywood at Brown Derby in DHS, it's basically a French martini though.

They've already been mentioned, but I love the Grand Marnier slush in France in Epcot (although I've heard the Grey Goose slush is better, but I don't like lemon), the Magical Star cocktail on the resort standardized menus, and the Welsh Dragon in the UK in Epcot.

ETA--I forgot one of my favorites--Island Sunset at 'Ohana in the Polynesian resort

Enjoy!
