Oh dear. Someone didn't delete the in-house communication first
You should save that email for the future. You can always pull them up on the Aim to please instruction.
I don't mean to criticise unnecessarily, but since WDW is IN the USA and they have a UK office, it would make a whole lot more sense to have one format for all reservation numbers. Once the resorts recieve the bookings, they only get the 12 digit ones so I don't see why it sometimes gets guarded like a state secret.
Although the alpha numeric one is fine for ADRs, the CM I spoke to did confirm that the 12 digit one is needed to make full use of the features re. your booking on the .com website, as well as OLCI and viewing your reservation on the US system. She just mentioned that now I can go ahead and do the forementioned as I now had my US ressie no.
I'd better write them in a safe place in case I lose the piece of paper now!
