It is worth it to renew my DC membership to get a better rate to stay in a Disney Hotel. Or should I just keep the Candy Cane Inn for our trip I got a rate of $77 a night there PLEASE HELP

I can't really comment on the amount of saving you will get at a Disney hotel, but I doubt you will beat $ 77 per night even with the DC discount.

Don't forget that there are other advantages to having the DC card. Car Rental, Shopping discount, dinning discount, etc.

We saved way more then the cost of the card on our last trip to WDW just on the car rental.

I got $155 on enterprise for a car rental I don't think national can beat that thats with taxes

It depends how important is to you to save $$ vs. staying at a Disney hotel. You definitely won't get a Disney hotel for $77, but I saved $100 for a 4-night package with DC staying at Grand Californian. There was also a special at the time where we got a 4-night stay for the price of 3, and we paid about $1100 for a theme park view, including 4 day hoppers (for the price of 3-day hoppers), a character breakfast, and $20 in ESPN game cards.

We also got 10% off all purchases of $50 or more (which we used at least 3 times during our stay), and 1/2 off the Walk in Walt's Footstep's Tour ($16 per person, regular price).

For us, it was worth the renewal. (Plus, you get a subscription for Disney Magazine, which I think normally runs about $16 per year).

For the Candy Cane Inn. ( I love that Hotel) But, this time we are staying at West Coast Anaheim, because they offered a stay 2 nights get one free with the Disney Club. We got an awesome deal for the 3 of us. I tried everything I could to beat the price, by pricing it alone, and I couldn't make it happen. I think the card is well worth it. The discounts on the meals and shopping makes it worth it.

I never even thought to check to see if any of the Good Neighbor Hotels offered any discounts with the DC card! That's good to know!

When you sign up with Disney Club you get a book that has "Entertainment Card" discounts. I think you can access this info on the Disney Club website as well.

Hope this helps!
Sue:)
