Does anyone know where I can go to look up DC Hopper Pass price info? I can find the prices for the passes at the gate and the advance price but not the DC price.

I am trying to determine if it will be beneficial to renew DC membership if I only plan on using if for our souvenirs and hopper passes. I am hoping to get a discount code for room only ressie that we have not yet made for a May 2003 trip. I figure the DC rooms are already gone.

Also, after 2 attempts to get DC to mail us our renewal our membership expired 9-30. Will they charge me a renewal fee or new member fee since it expired?

Any thoughts? Thanks!:Pinkbounc

i'm looking for the same site! i know i've seen gate prices listeds beside DC prices, but as much as i've searched, i can't come up with it.

can anyone help us???

Thanks Pooh & Doodle!

According to that site, there is not a DC discount on 4 & 5 day hoppers. Does that sound right?

kcbean,
According to that site, there is not a DC discount on 4 & 5 day hoppers.
They have done away with the DC discount on the 4 and 5 day hoppers. Now anyone can get an "advance purchase price" from the Disney Store.

if I only plan on using if for our souvenirs
I have only seen DC discounts at select downtown Disney Stores--and there is no telling if they will have a discount in May.

If you get a renewal price of 29.99 for the Disney Club, you would have to spend at least 299.90 on merchandise just to break even.....

If that is all you were going to use your DC card for, then it may not be worthwhile.

No telling what kind of deals they will be offering in May 2003--but some of the other discounts that I have enjoyed this year are as follows:
I have saved almost $100.00 on National Rental car (however, National is ending it's relationship with Disney at the end of this year).
I received a 20% discount on a couple of lunches at Wolfgang's.
The card has paid for itself many times over from Disney Store discounts--(I hate to say how much $$ I have spent at the Disney Store--I love pins!)
And, I received discounts on both Disneyland APes and DisneyWorld APes that would have paid for the DC card by themselves.
I have purchased AMC movie theater tickets through the DC, too.
Then, there is the Disney Magazine that I get...

DC rates for 2003 are out. If you are going to renew, you need to do it by December 12. They are prorating the fee to renew for 2003. The rate is based on when your current card expires. My membership expires in Feb. when I renew on Wednesday, I'll have to pay $24. If your membership expires later in the year, your fee to renew will be lower.

kcbean...

i know you are specifically looking for 4/5 day passes, but if you plan on taking a second trip in '03 why not get an AP?

I'm considering joining this week for the following reasons:

I'm going to try and go back in the fall, i would save 98.00 on parking on my March trip (two rentals), hoping to get some kind of deal on the rental car (haven't figured that out yet),I know there are limited discounts on purchases and rest., you can also get AP discounts on some hotels.

Just a thought!

I just got the winter 2002 update for Disney Club in the mail. They are continuing the discount for National Car Rental through 12/31/03 and they will also offer a discount for Alamo starting 1/1/03. Up to 20% for each company.

I plan on joining the DC this week, so my membership will be good through next year. It's good to know they will be continuing these benefits.

Did your mailing include any other information about continued benefits... specifically discounts on APs and dining discounts?

I can't wait to get my membership package in the mail, along with a membership number, so I can access the DC website myself:bounce:

Thanks for any additional information.:D

Through DC, 4-day park hoppers are $192 for age 10 and up, and $152 for age 3-9. You have to buy them when you make your reservation, or before you go.

I just got ours in November for our January visit.

I did find the rates through the DC site after a lot of searching, but it might be easier to just call DC and ask.
