I had to tell this board, the members of which share so much advice. Our TA says we must be living right . . . such good things have happened with our land/sea cruise for May 19 - 26, 2002. I think it's pixie dust.
Our package has been booked (and fully paid) since end of August, 2001. It was a little over $3230 for a cat 11/POFQ for DH, DS (10) & self. TA made an error; agreed to pay to move us to a cat 8. When POFQ closed, we received the Swan/Dolphin upgrade. We were happy. Called re: the $50 DClub shipboard credit & found with the discount rate we could upgrade to cat. 6, Polynesian for what amounted to $10 more than our original booking. Now we're thrilled!!
Here's the pixie part. This vacation was paid from a travel credit my DH received because he had been working away from home for 1 & 1/2 years. He could come home 1/2 as much as he should have. (6 weeks total over 18 mos). His DS took it so hard therapy was necessary. Hubby's working back home now (I'm the not-so-wicked step mom in this crew); this is our first family holiday & the DS (doing great now) still doesn't know what we have planned. For those who sometimes wonder about the state of Disney magic, this family's finding it everywhere & we haven't even arrived yet!
