Disney Club codes in

Just booked this morning using the DC code and got WL, woodsview for $149/nt. INC. tax!!! Saving about $450 over my AAA rate. I was going to wait until Fri. for the general codes, but DH and I really want this room at this resort for this price, so decided to go for it! CM said that cancellation policy for DC members is 5 days prior to arrival, same as booking through CRO.

Karla,

I think you were very smart to use the DC code instead of waiting. Last time codes were issued, there was a lot more availability when using the DC code than when using the "general public" codes, and the prices were basically identical.

Interesting that the DC cancellation policy was the same as the CRO policy... maybe that was because you were doing the Basic Plan (room only).

Hi, Mary,
I just wanted to personally give you a BIG "thank you" for enabling us to go to WDW! When I initially started trying to plan a trip there, it was way out of our budget. After discovering your site, we were able to go last May for the 1st time ever and are now going again in Jan. - Feb. 2003.
You have helped more people than you probably can imagine!

I originally booked at the CSR using the DC club discount and had a room for 131.50 a night. I thought this was great. As of today we now have a room for 106.50 a night using the DC codes. I now have @25 more a day to spend spend spend. :jester:

Could somebody tell me where on mousesavers.com to find these, I check daily and didn't see any! Thanks. :bounce:

I'm surprised you didn't realize this, Mary. The DC cancellation policies have always been the 5 days for DC members. They have recently changed the wording to indicate cancellation have to be done "prior to 5 days" but it really means the same thing.

Now if only the payment policies were the same, too. ;)

After posting I went back and did find them. Sometimes I just don't looks so good;) I was able to book for my dates in Jan at CSR. Thanks for all the info!!!!!

GoldenOldie, you're right, I always get confused by Disney Club policies because you have to pay in full 21 days in advance, but you can cancel up to 5 days in advance.

With CRO "room only" reservations, you can cancel up to 5 days in advance and you don't pay until you check in.

Too many deadlines. :D
