I stayed at CCI earlier this month and was looking through a free December magazine for Anaheim. I saw an ad for discount Disney apparel and I think it said the store was 5 minutes away from DL. Does this ring a bell for anyone? I know ABC Mart has a lot of T's but I didn't think they have any sweatshirts or hoodies. Cooler weather is coming here to LA and I was realizing an extra warmer something would be a handy idea. Thank you. I hope your Christmas was blessed and Merry and that your 2015 will be the same.

I remember seeing that same ad last trip but didn't get around to going; maybe next time. There is a store in a strip mall we went to back in 2012 (Company D I think it was) that sold surplus Disney merchandise. (last years and older clothing/ souvenirs, etc. as well as some amazing glass-work pieces). Really good prices but not sure if it's the same store.

The Disney Outlet in San Diego (at Las Americas Outlet Mall) has tons of clothing from the parks.

Company D is the cast member store. You would either need a CM to take you or give you a pass. I think OP may have been thinking about the Disney Character Warehouse Outlet in Fullerton. I'm not positive, but I believe it has closed. It was in a strip mall type of shopping center.

I just read in another DIS thread that it changed from Disney Character Warehouse to just Character Depot, NO official affiliation at all, so probably not worth a trip.
I went a bunch of years ago before the change and thought it was worthless.

The closest outlet is the Disney Outlet at the Citadel. The availability of park merchandise can be hit or miss.

Thank you everyone very much. I need to go to the Citadel, I like the Skecher's Outlet and while there will also like at the Disney Store. Next time I will look more carefully at ABC Mart as well. I believe years ago both Kmart and Wal-Mart sold some Disney clothing. 99 cent only stores are great for Disney school/office stuff or even some party plates and ABC Mart was awesome for post-cards though locals to LA will recognize the non Disney ones, some of can be found for cheaper at Rite Aid. The two Disney racks were fun to go through and I enjoyed sending a few to family to share about my trip as it was going on. ETA: Everyone stay warm out there, maybe wear your mouse ears. :)

Thanks Boiseflyfisher. I must've glossed over the CM-only part :worried: . It must have been the Warehouse Outlet I was thinking about.
