Do they overpriced? We also going to Paris for 3 days before disneyland, so maybe it a little bit cheaper to buy some clothes in local Disney Store?

Do they sell some winter staff or only costumes?
I want some flleece sweaters or hoodies for me and my kids and matching fleece hats/scarfs/mittens, but even can't imagine how much they cost (here we have only disney toy store).

What is the quality of Disney clothes comparing to NEXT brand? Better or worse?

Yes the prices are a little expensive but the quality is very good as good as NEXT (well the items i got anyway).

You will find most items of clothing available at shops all around both parks.

IMO they are overpriced, but if you hunt you can get some items in a sale.

Personally, I would buy the basics, hat/gloves etc before you go as you can now pick up branded disney stuff in the high street a lot cheaper than both the Disney Stores and on site. (Asda had them in a few weeks ago).

For adult fleeces/bodywarmers you will probably be cheaper to get them before you go too. We did get a special edition fleece for DH a few years ago for just over £10 (v's an originalprice of £40) so there are some bargains to be had on site.

If you intend buying lots of gifts (for family and childrens friends) I would suggest buying before you go as the goods on site are all pretty similar and expensive (we paid 5 euros for a keyring last Christmas) and £12 for a basic DLP purse.

A similar one in our local DS was £2.99 and £7.99. You could always blag a few DLP bags when your out there and no-one will ever know.

This posting was made with my money-saving head on and I would like to point out I am not tight :rotfl2: - just offering some tips for money saving.

Hi

I personally don't think the shops are that expensive(although DH does cough and splutter a bit when we get to the till :rotfl2: )
I just enjoy it so much because they are full of mickey stuff, which is not always available in UK Disney stores(at least not near me, anyway)
We have brought loads of stuff for the kids and myself at DLP(DH never wants anything though!wonder why?)
In March, I got a lovely fleece jacket for 65 euros(about £44), it is of lovely quality and really warm and well worth the money and really isn't that expensive when you compare it to other brands.

And as previously mentioned, you can often find bargains and there are loads of new disney items for sale on ebay, if you want to get something before hand.

We've always managed to find a few bargains. The shops in Walt Disney Studios for some reason is where we have had our best deals :goodvibes

I don't think they are expensive either and I think the quality equals Next apart from some of the cheaper Tshirts priced at around 6 euros which are obviously designed as cheap pressies for kids. Most of the clothes at DLRP are exclusive and can't be bought elsewhere, although there's always lots on Ebay. We have bought loads of Tshirts/fleeces/hoodies and they all wash up beautifully and the colours don't fade. Last year I bought a thick winter coat for 65 euros ~ it's much warmer than anything I tried on in Next or M&S and worked out much cheaper plus the best bit is it's got pooh: on it!

Pam, is your fleece the blue one with ::MickeyMo on? I treated myself to this as an early Christmas pressie! ;)

Fingers crossed that you get some bargains JazzyMe! :goodvibes The shop on the right as you exit the Disneyland park often has lots of sale items. Unfortunately they never seem to have anything left in my size! :furious:

Hi Elaine.
The fleece I brought was a beige/stone colour with ::MickeyMo
All the stuff I get for me has the main mouse on, so to me it is heaven cos the shops are full of mickey clothes.( I buy stuff even if it doesn't fit me if it has mickey on, that's how obsessed I am.....well, I know I will slim into a size 8 eventually :rotfl2: )
DD was not happy though cos there wasn't any :eeyore: clothing, although she managed to buy just about every cuddly there was(including a giant one that we struggled to get home)

I saw that one ~ mine is exactly the same but blue, think the logo of ::MickeyMo might be slightly different. I can't wait to wear it, roll on the cold weather! :rotfl:

Aww, still it's a good excuse to go back ~ need more clothes! :teeth:

JazzyMe,

I was in Woolworths today and noticed they sold Disney branded hat/scarf and glove sets for £10. Really thick with one of the Disney Princess' on it.

How much the kids fleece hoodies or sweaters in disney village cost?
I am thinking about buying some on ebay, so just want to compare if it worth .
