My thoughts and prayers are with all in Florida this weekend. I am sending pixie dust to spread over all to keep them safe. My DH and I are arriving in Fl on Wed to clean up my MIL yard from Charley. Now we will have Frances to worry about. Hope we have a airport and house to go to. I am hoping all will be safe.

Safe trip Ducklite!!!!

We gave the supplies to people who were involved in animal rescue that we know from the area. Told them to use them for their own homes or give them to others in need. Actually about noon on Saturday before the storm even hit we found out that some of our neighbors didn't have flashlights, batteries, etc., and we handed those things and some of the bread out then and there! I shipped one of the tarps and some other supplies to a friend in Vero who had part of her roof torn off.

The generator is still sitting in my garage, along with 18 gallons of gas, as we never lost power, but I think that tomorrow a girl from the HSUS or EARS is supposed to call me to make arrangements to pick it up and take it to a hard hit animal shelter in the Pensacola area.

Trust me, I wasn't about to stand in front of Home Depot handing things out--those people were nutz! I saw two 90 year old ladies in Publix literally beating each other over the last can of sterno! It's too bad it's come to that in the area.

Anne
