Disney Christmas week questions

Think we’ve decided to go August 2019 (God help us!) because we want to go for more days and can’t take too much time off school/work. Hope we can handle the 100 degree weather!!!
Just got back two days ago and the beginning of December was so busy!!! Can’t believe how many people are there during a random week. We’ve gone the same week 4 years ago and it was dead.

I've done August without a problem...honestly humid is humid is humid and New England gets pretty darn humid in the summer. Get there early, take a break for lunch, and then go back. (Plus the parks are open SO MUCH LATER)

I also think this fall/winter probably had more people because of rescheduled Harvey/Irma/Maria trips along with postponed wildfire trips.

That makes so much sense about the rescheduling!
My sister and I figure we can do rope drop and outdoor rides in morning and late night and during the heat of the day we will try to schedule table service lunches, pool time and indoor rides/shows. We also figure since we can go for 10 days we will not have to rush whereas if we went during the school year it will be a rushed vacation.
