Disney Christmas Trees

I seem to remember a thread that discussed Disney setting up and decorating a Christmas tree in your room. In addition, it was available to purchase & send home. Anyone else remember this or know where I can go to learn more? Thank!

I've done this for two years now - just call or go to the Disney Florist's site and they'll take care of it all for you! The trees are not inexpensive, but they're very nice!

I would love to do this on my dec. trip. I went on there website but did not see anything about it. I would like to see pictures of it before I called. I also would like to use the web to see the pictures, because I do not want to disturb them this week for something that could wait, as they may be cleaning up.

Do you have a link or some pics you could post?

they are fake trees - have to be your in a resort

however when I priced them they were very expensive like $250 and up per tree.

I either bring my little tree - or I would go by one at Walmart - the ones with lights there are around $20.

I think it is too early yet for the website to have the trees on it.

There is a thread started of families who are doing a tree swap. IE.. I have agreed to donate a Christmas tree to people staying at SSR. I will buy the tree and ship it to the first family who arrives in November and then when they leave they give it to the next family and so on until we get it back on December 19th. There are currently two trees for SSR and at least one tree for the other DVC resorts on property.

Thanks for all your help. We are planning to send down lights and other decorations for our stay at BCV 12/7 - 12/14. I just purchased tickets for MVMCP & have them for the CP! I can't wait!

We are on this list for a tree @ SSR for the same time frame you are there. If you are the only folks who bring a tree for SSR can we come over to enjoy it with you

We need more folks on the SSR tree list. My DH was just asking how we could bring a tree with us on the airplane. It's gonna have to be a VERY small tree .

you ship the trees with any other decorations before you leave home - some people also ship their Christmas presents - if you are going to be there at that time.

on the shipping label - put your name - your reservation number - your resort and arrive date, the resort address - UPS does this alot!!!
