Disney christmas party

umm dose disney land do christmas partys?
i heard its held between nov 17-dec 21

dose any one know about this???

Disneyland does not have Christmas parties like WDW has. Sorry.

They have the Candlelight Processional which is usually the first weekend of December. They have a special guest (movie star) speaker which reads the Nativity Story and have live music. It brings crowds and it is a special ticket if you want a seat.

Other than that there are no specific parties. DL does an awesome job though with decorations, Christmas Fantasy Parade, special holiday fireworks with snow afterwards. IASW and HM both have overlays for Christmas. It's our favorite time of year in the parks and we make our annual visit during this time.

They decorate the park real nice. The Haunted Mansion turns into Nightmare before Christmas and other seasonal stuff. There is no formal MVMCP though.

In my opinion DL exceeds the Magic Kingdom as far as decorations, rides and entertainment. I know that WDW has the party, but that is a separate ticket. DL has a Christmas parade, Christmas fireworks, snow and carols everynight for anybody who enters the park. Haunted Mansion and Small World are totally overlayed with holiday decor and music!! They are fantastic!!! Not to be missed. There is also the Reindeer Roundup at Thunder Mountain. New Orleans square is beautiful too. I think everything might look better too, because DL is so compact and intimate. Every nook and cranny filled with decorations!
So just because there is not a special party, doesn't make it not special. Give it a try. You will love it!!!

ahh cool thanks, ya do the kids get to petthe raindeer or get pics with them?
and what are the park hors for at night time nov 27-dec2ed..i was planing on coming back in the evenings..hoping it dosent close to early

Weekends: DL should be open 8-12. DCA 10-9.

Weekdays: DL should be open 10-8. DCA 10-6.
