Disney Christmas Parade Taping

Have they announced when the taping will be for the Christmas Parade? I wanted to go in December and was wondering what the date will be. I know it was early last year.

It was filmed on November last year. But before that it was typically done in December. I don't think anyone has a guess this year.

Last year wasn't typical, though. In the post I quoted, you said it's usually filmed in November, but it isn't.

You're correct. They actually filmed the parade portions with floats on November 13th. It was the first year in many years that the parade was taped in November rather than in early December.

Some attributed the switch in scheduling to the fact that DL did not have an actual parade portion with floats taped for the Christmas Day program - the 60th decor was up throughout the park.
