They don't have "nuggets" any more right - it's like a chicken strip right?? We're going on Thursday and want to do a couple of counter service meals and for the kids to ensure they'll eat everything - it must be chicken nuggets! :rotfl: Normally I keep chicken nuggets to one meal a day or every several days if I can keep them away from them that long but at Mickey's house, they get spoiled a bit. How common are chicken nuggets? Would I be able to find them at most places that we adults are intersted in eating at?? I'm open to any suggestions for chicken nuggets (kid or adult meals as they could split an adult meal) at a counter service that the adults would enjoy as well - any of the parks.

TIA!!

Well, it depends. By "nuggets" do you mean ground processed chicken product? A few places had them as a kids meal item, but they were kinda gross I thought. Maybe because they were baked in order to be "healthier"

Most places, the "nuggets" are breaded & fried chicken breast chunks, similar in texture to chicken strips, but cut in smaller pieces -- they actually taste ok. So I guess it depends what exactly your kids are looking for & what they will flat out reject. :goodvibes

You should definitely check out the menus & the kids menus of the various places you are interested in dining at.

Ask before you buy. Several places had chicken tenders/fingers but they were not fried! Just grilled pieces of chicken and it's not good. Blech!

We were staying at Pop and my son was getting chicken nuggets in his kids meal. I guess they have different nuggets for kids and adults. He was getting the "kids" nuggets, which looked disgusting, and sitting right next to those were the "adult" nuggets which looked so much better as they were like little chicken strips. He looked at me and asked "why can't I get those" as he was pointing to the better-looking ones.

There were really good chicken nuggets (the little chicken strip ones) at a cart in Frontierland at MK. It was a good-sized serving along with french fries and I think 2 kids could split it.

My niece did not like the nuggets at all...they were very hard and spongy on the inside. Thank goodness for a McDonalds at Epcot and DTD or the poor child would have gone hungry

My son has sensory issues and as a result is very picky and did fine with the tenders/nuggets. But check menus carefully- not all places have them, counter and table service alike. The only TS in MK with them is the CP. In Epcot, it is the Moraccan resturant, electric umbrella cs, the mexican place and I think the liberty place at American Adventure-- cs. The only Ts in DHS is 50's primetime. The Grand Floridian doesn't have them in any of their resturants ( accoridng to the review of ALL the menus I did last summer- things may have changed or not been accurate). 1900 Park Fare dinner didn't have them...
Hope that help...
Jill

Same thing at WL. The kids nuggets were disgusting. My DD, who previously had never met a chicken nugget she didn't like, took one bite of the kids and refused to eat any more. I didn't even realize there were 2 different kinds until the next day when a lady next to me in line ordered the adult nugget meal for her kids as she said her kids thought the kid's version was nasty and wouldn't eat them either. Both sets of kids didn't have a problem with the adult version.

Don't worry- you will find plenty of chicken nuggets/strips. I spent my trip looking for things she would eat that weren't chicken nuggets/strips and she still got a whole lot of nuggets/strips.
