Since the checks were such a great bargain I splurged and got the matching cover. They are really nice and so far all of the auto readers at stores (grocery, Walmart, etc.) have been able to read them fine. There are some checks that will not scan.

I recommend Designer Checks absolutely!!!!!

When we got to the end of our old box of checks I was so excited because I was going to get Disney Checks. My little DD and I sat down and looked at all the Disney checks and had decided on the princess ones. Well, DH wanted to be "helpful" and had ordered a new box of checks at work that day (we have a credit union through his work). They were plain blue ones Luckily he only bought one box. But now we do so much online banking that the only checks we write are for school pictures, soccer pictures, etc. I may never get my Disney checks.

Funny how my DH never decides to be helpful when it comes to the dishes or laundry etc.

I recommend buying the most they will let you on you initial purchase. All of those check printing companies offer huge discounts on you first order, I am pretty sure reorders are pretty expensive. If not you can just move to the next vendor when you need more, there are at least 3 companies out there that are basically the same.

I've never ordered from here and actually after I read more on the website, it doesn't look like you can place new order. Sorry about that! I was hoping to do my next check order from there.

This is the company that banks use - and they are pricey in comparison to Designer Checks and Checks Unlimited. Deluxe does offer a wee bit better product in that there might be gold foil treatments, but to me $17+ per box is just too much when you can buy two boxes from the others for less - even if you're not a "first-time" shopper. I've used both services as well as Image Checks and Artistic Checks over the years and so far have never had a problem using any of them.

Currently I have Muppets and Diane Knott's Americana checks.

I just got the checks through Deluxe. They are a little more expensive, but this design is adorable!
