Does anyone have a list or link to where I might find the different point values for obtaining things at WDW? (I.E. 10 points would get you___) I would like to see what my options are!
Thanks!

It doesn't work like "points", it works more like credit card and every point you have is one dollar.

When you are ready to spend your rewards, you either call them directly or sign on their website and request a reward card. You must have a minimum of 20 reward dollars to request a card. The card works like a debit card. You receive 1 dollar for every reward dollar you have earned. The card is good at Disney Stores, anywhere in WDW including restaurants and some carts, stores in DTD, resorts, etc. It can take up to two weeks to arrive so make sure you leave enough time to get it before your trip. After you receive your card, you can either call or visit the website and transfer any additional points you have. The card does have an expiration date (I believe it is a year) so make sure you will use your points before the card expires.

I believe that once you have a card you can transfer amounts to that card until the card expires, BUT the minimum amount to be able to transfer is $10.

What we did when we went to WDW was, I ordered the card with all the reward dollars on the card except for $10. Then the day before we left, I transferred everything that was left onto the card which took only a few minutes over the phone. I believe it was $16. If we hadn't done it that way, we couldn't have used that $6 because it was below the minimum to transfer. Sounds silly, but $6 will get you some ice cream or a couple of cold drinks in WDW.

Enjoy!

Can you use the rewards card to pay for the alcohlic drink portion of your meal if your on the dining plan? I have a considerable amount on my reward card to use for souviners, ect. Am planning on using it for breakfast too at POFQ food court. TIA!!

That is a great tip! I'm not sure that I would have thought of it. Thanks for sharing.

That should be no problem, they count as Disney Dollars so should be usable anywhere on WDW property, as I understand it.

I did the same thing as Amaloy314, ordered my card with the minimum $20 then left the extra on the card until my trip. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the rewards for the month we left (not the entire amount was credited right away), so I ended up calling when we arrived in WDW. They got the correct amount and transferred it to the card, at which point it was instantly available.

That part was a little bit of a pain (though they did a pretty good job of resolving it), but I think I actually got the missing amount after a little while so in the long run I got an extra $12 or so! Still, I'd recommend keeping an eye on that. I have another Chase rewards card (Subaru) and one time there was a mistake with that, too... you need to check the statements to make sure that you're getting proper credit.

Thanks Groucho!! I already have my rewards card and have already loaded $600 on it so I should be alright!! I don't want to add any more. I wouldn't of put that much on it but I was planning on using it to pay for part of my trip and then the AAA agent told me I couldn't use it on an AAA trip. I'm on the dining plan so won't need it for meals except breakfast. Money goes fast in the world though!!
