This isn't a problem with only Chase or with the Chase Visa or the Disney Visa - it's a problem with all credit cards and all companies unfortunately. It is in everybody's best interest to read all statements as they come in and to also check your credit report every year.

I also had that $474.00 on my card 2 months ago.
They called me to ask if it wemade that charge.

They gave us new cards also.

I thought it was only my card, I wonder what is going on?

Thanks - I checked mine and was forced to look at the balance I owe by 10/8 No weird charges though....just $900 worth of gas!

They just checked my bill. The only bogus charges on my card are the interest charges. I paid my bill in full last month. This month I was charged interest. I called to complain and they said I had to pay my bill off in full for 2 month to not have an Average Daily Rate and then I wouldn't be charged interest I am so mad. I have never has a CC company charge me interest on a balance that wasn't even on my current statement. Also if you have a current balance and a "no interest" promo on your card check your ADR. Last month my promo was calculated in with all my other charges. I called and when they couldn't explain how they calculated my ADR they just removed all interest charges but be careful and check your statement. They are charging lots of interest they shouldn't. I will only be using my card for Disney Vacations from now on.

I'm bummed that you can't get two different styles for each credit card. I want Lil Mermaid, but DH refuses to carry it so we're back to Mickey, Donald and Goofy - not that that's a problem.

You can I just did it I ordered the M,D,&G for me both cards came cut up DW's I started using ti right away she still used the Red Mickey one. I then ordered the Tink for DW ( couldn't do it until the M,D&G were called in and activated) They just arrived I put my Tink away and DW started to use hers . I'm still using M,D&G but may switch to the Tink for our trips CS said that was fine as they are really both coded the exact same .

As far as the charges I check mine everyday just to make sure as it's the card we use for everything. So far so good.

I'm sending out this alert to everyone who has the Disney Chase card because it just happened to us and I have heard it happen to others.

Friday night I pulled up our Chase account online to check the balance because I had sent in a big payment and wanted to make sure it had hit. Well, there were three charges of $200 with a description of TLP TRANSACTION EXPIRED(Other) - DH and I had no idea what they were so we called customer service. After being transferred three times between the sales and credit department we where finally transferred to the fraud department. The woman did a trace on the item and all she could tell us was that it was foreign and had no more details then that. She immediately cancelled the account, credited our account $600 and issued us new cards. I just got our cards today UPSed to us and our account has been credited the payment and the adjustment of the $600.

In talking to friends they told me about someone who had this same thing happen to a Chase account and it was a foreign charge of hundreds of dollars.

All I can say is check your balance and check it online often.

This same TLP TRANSACTION EXPIRED(Other) was on my card in the amount of $218 and $311 !!!!! It's been a nightmare trying to get it resolved. We, like you, had no idea what these charges were. We called fraud, they removed the charges, closed the account and opened a new account for us.
The next month the same charges were on the new account!!! I've faxed a fraud form they sent, have written a letter and the charges are still there!!!Any advice on what to do next? It's so frustrating trying to get this taken care of

The next month the same charges were on the new account!!! I've faxed a fraud form they sent, have written a letter and the charges are still there!!!Any advice on what to do next? It's so frustrating trying to get this taken care of

I would close the account and wait 30 days to open a new one. It sounds like someone might have a link to you. I'm sorry you've had this problem, it's very scary to think that anyone can charge something to your account without you knowing it. What did the Disney Visa people say?

I didn't have those bogus charges listed earlier, but I had one for $250.00 for a sporting goods store in British Columbia. I've never been there! Chase was very good about taking it off my account. They canceled the account then opened a new one for me. No problems since.
It ticks me off that lazy bums & hackers can figure out how to get account numbers. If they're THAT smart, they should put their brains to work and do something good in the world!

I'm not happy about the fact that I leave for WDW on Sat. and Chase/DISNEY VISA no longer has the free photo session w/Mickey & friends at EPCOT. We did that last year and there was no one behind us so we were in there about 20 minutes!!! The Disney Vias card has NO offers at WDW right now. Bummer, I'm always up for a freebie or Pixie Dust!

Did you book a Disney vacation package earlier this year and make payments for $218 and $311? That's what it turned out to be for me. When the 6 month no finance period ended, the amounts showed up as "Charges" on the website. Of course I saw the original post, assumed mine was fraud, and called and had the card cancelled. But then I realized what the amounts were for and around the same time Chase called me back and explained it to me. That's the way it shows up on the website meaning that the amounts would now be included in my balance for calculating interest. But when I got my actual paper bill, it was not listed as a charge. So I wasn't actually charged for it again (the first time being when I actually booked the package/made the payments).
