Hello! Not sure if this is the correct thread, but here goes. I will be in the Kissimmee area next month visiting relatives. I really would like to go to the Disney Character Warehouse, can anyone give me any tips, suggestions?
Do I need to join any type of queue? I plan on arriving prior to opening on a week day, if that makes any difference.
Thank you!

I can only speak to the Vineland outlet. I’ve been to this outlet a handful of times. We try to park as close to the food court as possible, if you walk through the food court the store is directly on the left. Be prepared that it can be hard to find a parking spot. I’ve never been there when it has had a virtual queue, but on really busy days they may have one. Every time I’ve been, there has been a line. I try to go in the morning, before noon, and there is usually a line about 20 min long. Be prepared that portion of the line is in the sun. I’ve heard that going closer to closing may have a shorter line. If you get there prior to opening you should get in pretty quickly.

We recently made a trip just for the outlets.
My two cents: I wouldn’t visit the outlets on weekends. You will drive in a circle for days looking for a parking spot. You’ll either have to pay to park, or park across the street and walk to the outlets.
We tried again on Sunday afternoon. Once again, no parking and we just had my husband let us out and then he came back to pick us up. We arrived at the outlet (on Vineland) and there was a long line outside. We waited about 40 minutes in line, as they were letting about 10 people at a time enter the store. Once inside it is kind of a madhouse. If possible, I would suggest watching any of the “newest” YouTube blogs from those that show what’s currently available at the outlets. This will at least give you an idea of some items you might hope to find.
Finally, on Monday morning, we visited the outlets at Orlando Outlet Marketplace on International Dr. We arrived over 30 minutes before the store opened. Get in line by the door as soon as you can. The outlet area was empty, however everyone coming in was there for the Disney store and the line was growing by the time the doors opened.
Hoped this helped some.

Vineland opens at 10am. People will be lining up starting around 9am. There’s also another one at the outlets on I drive up by Universal but that store is very tiny

Before you know it, that Character Warehouse is going to have its own Lightning Lane pass!

Flashback to 1994 or first family visit to WDW. We stumbled onto the Character Warehouse in that sprawling mall at the far end of International Dr. There might have been a dozen people in the store, four of them being our family. When we discovered the one on Vineland Rd, there was never a line and you could comfortably browse at any time.

Now I sit outside in a comfy wheelchair and any members of my family who are brave (and patient!) enough to go inside will send photos of any merchandise that I might find interesting. I am so lucky to have wonderful family who share my love of Disney.
