Going to a meeting near WDW soon, and I was considering going to the DCW, but not sure if I can break away. Is it still worth a visit? Based on what I’ve read, it seemed to have opened with a bang, but in more recent times, it’s uneven.

Also, is the one closer to Disney just as good, or should I head up to the one near the top of I Drive?

What say ye, almighty Boards of Dis?

Not going to mention the name of the other site here but if you Google "The Magic, The Memories, and Merch!", you will find some very detailed blog posts of the two Disney’s Character Warehouses.

Thanks for that, ahem, "hint". Good report, but not much detail on clothing at all. I wonder if that reflects what is at the store, or if they simply feel like they've covered clothing enough. (I only read two reports.) Based only on that report, I don't think I will push myself too hard to get there, but if timing works out, I'll stop in.

I was at both last week. What were you looking for? Adult clothes ranged from about $8 to about $25. Lots of stuff from Disney Cruise Lines, some stuff from the parks (Mickey ts for $10). They had mostly the same things at both locations. They said they get things in daily and never know what it's going to be.

Well, I guess nothing specifically. I just wasn't sure if it was worth the effort, with limited time available, to check it out. It sounds like it it really is the luck of the draw, so I'll try to make it, but won't kill myself to do so.

That was how we were. Glad we went, picked up some good deals, but it's not a MUST DO next time we go. The Vineland Ave one was a lot closer to Disney Springs than I expected.

I was just at the Vineland one yesterday and was at the same one back in August. Both times there was a lot of Vera Bradley in the older patterns. There were a lot of purses and totes, too, of different brands. There were clothes for men and women. I saw some of the 28th and Main men's shirts that I had seen at Disney Springs previously. There were a lot of toys. Interestingly, there were a lot of the toy weapons that are no longer sold in the parks. There were a lot of Tsum Tsums for only 99 cents each. There were also some Christmas decorations and ornaments. There also was Disneyland merchandise along with DCL. I saw some Star Wars things. They had Vinylmations. They had Magic Band sliders. (I think they were $2-3 for a pack of three.) There was Halloween merchandise. There were things that appeared to be from the Flower and Garden Festival. There were also Orange Bird pillows and Adventureland plates. Really, it's a hodge-podge of merchandise, but if you can find something you like, you can get a great deal.

I like going there because the prices are so good. I like to let DD pick out souvenirs from there. She got a pen set and notebook set for only $5 each. She wanted them in August in the parks, but I didn't want to pay full price. The same with the Tsum Tsums. I think they are about $6 in the parks which I think is too high, but for 99 cents each, I'm fine with her buying multiple ones. I think it's always a fun place to look around.

I went to the one on I Drive once a few years ago, and I remember it being basically the same. I wouldn't try to get to that one unless you were just in the area. We were staying at Universal, so it made sense for us that time.

We just got back Sunday we did both Vineland & International Dr. Vineland had a lot more adult clothes and the store is larger than the International Dr location as it has been downsized. From what I remember selection was about the same with Vineland having greater quantities. If you are only looking to do one you should be fine with Vineland.

Well, even if selection is the same, great to hear that Vineland is actually larger now, since it's closer. Thanks.

What's sold at them really depends on what's going on and disney has left over. You can't go by a review of what's going to be available or not sold out, it's not a stocked store, it's the we have extras to sell at any disneyparks, abd, crusieline parks. I don't usually see asian theme park stuff sold but paris and anaheim is common. There is different stuff in both stores so you cant just visit one and see it all.

I was at character warehouse in the vineland premium outlets (the one close to disney springs) last weekend. A lot of disney cruiseline, especially around pins and holiday ornaments. Some disneyland paris stuff started to appear. Very little halloween but some, mainly the chocolate eggs, houseware and boo to you coffee mugs. It was just after a rundisney event and there was a lot of sell it fast priced rundisney clothing. All the of the park inspired tsum tsums and star wars ones were around for $0.99 each. Toy wise, normal collection but starting to see the larger star wars figures (like 2 foot tall ones) appeared which was odd as they are still for sale in the parks and deluxe resorts for much higher prices. lots of artwork but it was only 4 or 5 different prints. My daughter loved the selection of other clothing, a lot of stuff she was considering buying all summer was there so she made out like a bandit. Some artwork that was leftover the the august art thing they did but not a huge selection and while discounted, it wasn't pennies on the dollar for that stuff. I didn't see the overstock from the resort discount with purchase option since it switched to holiday themed merch recently so maybe it's going to return to the same offer the next change.

it's close enough to property for a quick mall excursion and break from disney but I wouldnt' rely on anything being there to still purchase, stock rotates really fast.

Vineland one had a lot of Disney Alaska Cruise jackets and shirts. I would have loved to have gotten some but I will only buy something if I had actually been on a Disney Alaska Cruise. I got 2 VB crossbody bags, same design, one was a gift but when we went back a few days later most were all gone. There might be some F&W Festival things showing up there as today is the last day (don't know how long it takes them to go to the outlets).

Do you mind sharing the prices on the bags?

Wow, parking is tough at the Vineland location. Be prepared to park in the garage.

I did not purchase anything, but I'm glad I went. It will not be a "must do" in the future by any stretch, but time permitting, it's not a bad idea to check out what is available.

We always head straight to the garage for parking because it's always so busy.

I was recently at the North Premium Outlets near Universal.

I bought a Vera Bradley Hipster for $24.99 - super happy about that - reg. price $70. They had lots of Vera bags, some toys, some Disneyland 60th anniversary merchandise like lanyards and light up ear hats, some clothes but I wouldn't say heaps. I also bought a children's Anna and Elsa tumbler with straw for $3.99. I thought there were a lot of good deals and it was definitely worth going for me - but I love Vera Bradley and had been hoping for a Disney one. Also the regular Vera Bradley outlet at that location had great deals - most everything 50% off plus another 20%.

We were at the Premium Outlets Vineland location last night around 9:30 pm and most of the front parking lot area that is facing I-4 is Valet or premium parking ( $7 )
  • They also had the Vera Bradley purses, backpacks, wallets and hipsters.
  • Disney Parks Castle Plays sets for $39.99 (still 79.95 at Parks and Online).
  • 2016 branded items
  • DL 60 Diamond items including Starbucks mugs
  • Plenty of Disney Cruise Line items

Is anyone going to the outlets anytime soon? I'd like a few things. Is there anyone that does that? Years ago I could call and order but the phone recording now says u can't. Thanks
