I had read somewhere, that instead of an autograph book, to get a poster with Disney characters on it for the characters in the park to sign. I have looked high and low and all I have found is a poster with the Disney Princess' on it. My son was not too jazzed about just having the princess'. Does anyone know where I can get a poster with an assortment of Disney Characters on it?

There are some on Ebay. I would think that you could find something at DTD or at the big souveneir shop on Main Street at MK. A poster seems kind of big to carry around (even rolled up in a canister) the parks. Don't you think it might be a pain to get out and put back in everytime you want to get a signature? Maybe not. What about buying postcards for the characters to sign? I guess you would have to buy a lot of different postcards since there are a lot of different charcters.

Yeah it might be a pain, but we would like something we could frame and hang on the wall. When we were at WDW two years ago we couldn't find a suitable poster, we have even checked the Disney Gallery Stores. I know there is one out there somewhere. I just have to find it. I will take your tip to check Ebay, thanks.

Instead of the poster, maybe you could have the characters sign on individual pages in the autograph book. Then when you get home, remove the pages and make an autograph collage that you could frame. You could even add an actual picture of your son getting the autograph. :)

Your post made me think of the brady bunch episode when Greg lost his dad's plans and ended up with a poster instead..... :rotfl2:

World of Disney at Downtown Disney has a lithograph that is a purchase with a purchase... now don't quote me on the price but maybe $5 w/$75 purchase.

It is quite a nice print. I have seen seen folks at the character meals as well as getting autographs in the parks on these. I would think you would need to have a tube to roll it up in to carry throughout the park so it did not get damaged!

On another thread someone mentioned this too. They had made the suggestion to go to Epcot and in the Imagination building they have where you can get your families picture taken and then they will put it in a character background, as if you are standing there with them. They give you several different choices on what background you would like.

We do this every year and it always turns out really cute...they laminate it also so it is hard for it to get damaged. We have never gotten it signed, but I think it would be very easy to do.

When we go in Dec I am going to buy a photo mat and get all the characters to sign it and then blow up one of pics of my daughter with a character and hang it in her room. Something different than an autograph book. I read it on the board and love the idea. You get photo mats at walmart or a photograph shop.
I loved the idea !!!
