My mom thinks Selena Gomez is a great actress and will be a tv star for a long time. I think Cole Sprouse will be around too, because i'm hoping so. Who do you think will still be on tv for a long time?

I agree with Selena Gomez, I think she has a great personality and she is quite pretty.
I also think that Dylan and Cole Sprouse are very funny and talented, and that should take them far in their careers.

disney contracts make it a little difficult to be big outside of disney, kwim? if you're good, they're going to keep you until you stop being good.

i can't think of any former disney stars who are still around in any recognizable manner. especially the singers. in ten years the jonas brothers and miley cyrus are going to be looked back on the way we look back on hansen and the backstreet boys.

The only DC star from a few years ago that I still know is Shia Labeouf (Spelling) and that's because of transformers. I don't see too many of them going on after disney.

hilary duff has completely left the public entertainment business though (she's now an american ambassador). and her movies were all disney titles, right? (i could be wrong, but i thought they were) and she was under the disney singing label.

Yes Hilary Duff does have some non-disney movies but I think she produced them herself and I think they were straight-to DVD movies.

She is probably concentrating on college or something but she has had a good career since DC. She has been in Gossip Girl Season 3...

I think that Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers will be around for a while, they all have a strong fanbase and while the movies and albums can bring in money they'll get projects.

And I agree that Selena Gomez is an amazing actress, she is probably the best on DC at the moment
