Disney Channel Going Back To Classic?

Hello! The last couple of days while I was getting ready at about 8-9 am and the Disney channel was on I noticed that Alice and Wonderland was playing and then the next day while I was getting ready Beauty & The Beast was on. I got super excited because I tought maybe they were trying to get in touch with classic disney movies! So today I decided to wait and see, but no classic movie ever came on Does anyone know what this is all about?

Unfortunately, I don't think Disney will ever go back to its classic roots fully (unless they create a whole new channel, which I'm fine with). I've seen older Disney or Pixar movies on Disney Channel, but it's clearly just at the whim of whoever schedules the channel's daily programming. But, hey, at least they were showing something from before the 1980s!
