Disney Channel Games 2008???

I want to start by saying hello to everyone! I would like to use this time to recap the week. Tuesday night got to pop century.
Wednesday morning woke up and drove to WWOS. Walked right up to the ticket counter and got my tickets. No wait, no issues, no problems. The lady at the ticket counter was very sweet. I asked to speak to two of our board friends, neither were in. I DID drop by to say hi TWICE! both times they were out. The first time I left a message. Want them to know, I told them I would look for them. Then tried to look at the layout and seating. Security stopped me. A gentleman from Philly, I think Mike. He told me they were closed. I asked to look at the stadium and seating. He walked me in and around . Talked with him a while.
Went to DHS! Found a great place to park my butt for the parade. It seemed that not that many people knew of it. Spoke with the photopass guy for an hour before the parade started. Parade was very cool. Many of the stars looked and waved at my daughter. My daughter yelled to Selena "Selena I love you!" Selena turned around smile and told her " I love to too". Made my daughters day.
Thursday I got to WWOS at 830am. Got news it started at 9. Did not want to chance it. Met a nice girl and family in line. We hung out together. She knew where to go. When the gates opened we walked right behind home plate to the first base side. There was alot of activity on the third base side. Then came the one and only person my daughter wanted to see. Alyson Stoner. I told her who I was, you guys know what I am talking about, and introduced my daughter. She not only remembered her but congratulated her, hugged her, signed an 8x10 my daughter brought with her and even posed for a picture. I know. I had to chance 1. It made my daughters trip! Then Selena came and was wonderful talked hugged signed, then Demi who acted the same way. Awesome. Then Jake came and he was so nice to my daughter. My daughter slapped hands with Jason Dolley, Cody Linley and Joe Jonas. Ok time for a break.
Went back to the hotel to rest around 1pm. Around 5pm came back. Could not get near the field it quadrupled in attendence. I walked around and watched the games with my daughter. She was ecstatic about that alone. Went out to the right field line. Met Chris Massey..super nice. Anna Marie and her brother both very nice. Spoke again with Alyson she is the best! Then came Nick and Kevin. Nick was signing but stopped a few people down from me. Kevin stopped about the same plave then started heading to the back. I asked Kevin to please sign for my daughter. He stopped came back, autographed, apologized then ran to catch up with security. Grade A nice Guy. Joe gave his wristband to a little girl very sweet. Then came Jason Earles. Just to go with the wonderful guy stories you have heard. He was signing in around the fence. Signed and spoke with me jumping up to get the picture from me. Thanked me for being there. Then climbed up onto a golf cart to get higher to sign for the people above me. He made sure everyone was signed before he left. And just to add something more. Alyson clocked out and came back out to signed autographs for people at the end too.
Saturday we just enjoyed the awesome concert that Disney was generous enough to offer. No autograph chasing just great father daughter time. That is priceless! I want to thank disney and the stars and tell them them that If they need any help next year come to these boards. I knwo you can find helpers here! Thanks LXH! You guys are the best.

on the down low..If anyone has pictures of just the stars can you please send them to me. I am trying to put together a scrap book for my daughter. Thanks for everyone input and the last few monthes have been great. Met alot of awesome people and really enjoyed this time. Sorry it took so long but I wanted to get it all out

Sounds like everyone had a good time! I am so sorry to hear about your son vafarmmom, no one should ever be treated like that. Thats crazy that they made AKL guests go back to their rooms! Last year people could roam whereever they pleased! And after reading that AKL pool story, i wish i did that! Every night a bunch of the DC stars where by the pool and i just stood there and watched! except for the one time I walked around the pool and almost ran into Kyle Massey and Emily Osment! lol. Thank you all for your stories! Keep them coming!

Access Hollywood just played some footage from the concert, mainly about Miley and the prayer sign she read. They showed a lot of people around the railing, screaming and waving...including the now famous guitar, lol.

"most amazing week" of their lives. Actually, my 9 year old was sick most of the week, so she wasn't as into the whole thing as my 15 year old.

And, my 15 year old just got a message on her myspace from Martin from DC France - so the magic of the week lives on! LOL

So-we are back from Florida and an overall great time at the DCGames 2008. Thank you all here on the boards for all of your ideas, reports, etc. What a fantastic community. I feel so blessed to have found you all. While Thursday was pretty disappointing for us, we LOVED the parade (great , had great times at AKL (loud fans not withstanding) and the concert was a BLAST!!! My 14 year olds ended up off next to where the stars were and had a great time playing with Moises Arias. Me & my DD7 ended up in a nice lovely spot off to the right of the field, right by the gate. Other than a couple incidents with some rude teens (seriously, don't push a mom and think you're going to get away with it - and all of you parents who were pushing your kids telling them to "just push people over" SHAME ON YOU) we had the best time. We watched Frankie Jonas run around and play, stood less than 30 feet from Mr. & Mrs. Jonas, saw everything perfectly on stage and the big screen, and made new friends with some lovely girls (although Hailey has a scream that could break glass and she used it often) . The new Miley songs were GREAT, Demi was surprisingly good (we had only heard the Camp Rock song and weren't that impressed) - just a ton of fun!!! I can not thank you all enough. AND - I can't thank Disney enough for opening this up to the fans. While I think they miscalculated what girls will do to be close to the Jonas Brothers and maybe won't just do a general field seating next year... it was fantastic!!! If there is a specific e-mail others are contacting to say thanks please post and I'll add mine. I am going to send my thanks over to the two VPs that were quoted all week on line - totally open to anyone else's ideas. I don't know if I met any of you, but if I did, nice to meet you and I hope to see you all again next year. The plane ride home was already filled with planning for 2009!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Thanks O&L's mom. I wont just take anything...I learned that when I got caught shoplifting and my dad whipped my but through the store down the street and into the house lol
