You want an autograph from a Disney Channel celebrity?

Your chances could have increased at the Disney Channel Games, which are being played at Disney's Wide World of Sports, off Interstate 4, southwest of Orlando.

The channel says it has opened up more areas in Champion Stadium for autographs with the actors. Now we'll hope the actors will come over and give them to fans.

The games continue through 7 p.m. Tuesday and will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.

ALright, just came back, and here's my report. Keep in mind that I didn't go last year.
We waited for my kids to get off from school and got there at 4pm. Only a couple of people in line at the bag check. I did leave my camera at home but could have pass it thru. The person in the bag check didn't really check that much.
Inside the stadium alot of kids at the bottom, waiting, we headed down in between rows 112-114 and got a spot, not 10m after some international stars came by as did Cody from Hannah Montana, got autograph and pic with cell phone and Demi got autograph and pic (very sweet girl). Then waited about 30min. Nothing, I saw some celebs by the grass area so my DD7 and I headed over, got Selena from Wizard and (my daughter said her name was) Harper (i don't know if it's her real name or character name. Both pics and autograph.
My DS11 and DH stayed on the other area and one of the producers came with papers to sign a waiver for the kids to be interviewed. My DS was picked and got interviewed by Cody.
We decided to go back to the grass area and all of a sudden the three JB came out, My DD had a good spot so a just prepared for the massive mountain of girls, thankfully I was able to act like a shield between them and my DD. She got all three JB and pics.
They started taping again, so we took a break. Then a girl named Meaghan did some interviews near to us. We got her autograph and pic, and learned she will be in Camp Rock.
They finished taping around 6:30pm and everything calmed down, the all of the stars came out in different sections. We got Cole and Dylan SProuse (sweetest kids), another blonde girl from Camp Rock,Newt from Cory in tha House, Jason from Hannah Montana, Brenda Song, all of them with pics.
The JB came out again as well.
We left at 7:30pm and there was still people getting autographs and pics.
I saw people with cameras also a lady close to me had her camera taking pics right next to a security guy and he said to her "I didn't see anything" so I'm not sure how they are handling the camera situation. I did ask a security person if it was OK to take pics with cell phone and he said that it was OK.

My kids impression? "Thank you so much for bringing us here, it was AWESOME! My DD7 even got the JB to sign her disney channel 2008 shirt the second time they came around.
I'm sorry if this report is a bit long but I wanted to give as much info as I could remember.

I Did Not Go To The Games Today Because Of How Bad Things Were On Monday. But It Seems That ThingS Have Changed And Got Better. It Seems That Disney Heard Us. Good For Them It Shows Me And I Hope Every Body That They Do Listen And Care. Great Job Disney I Was Not Going To Go Back To The Game But Now I Will Be Taking My Kids Back On Thursday I Hope This Just Keep Getting Better At The Games

We took a run over to the games after my elder DD was done with school. She brought two friends with her. The younger one was home sick today. She was feeling a little better, but whined a lot. LOL

We got there around 330. At one point Big Rob, the JB bodyguard, brought the boys around the edge of the stadium for autographs and hugs. Kaitlyn got all three to sign her autograph book and she was ecstatic.

We hung out till a little after 7 and they got a slew of other autographs. Then, Big Rob and the boys made the rounds again. My elder DD got hugs from all three JB - she was practically crying from excitement. Her two friends got their cell phones signed. You should have heard them on their phones to their moms "omgmomthejonasbrothersallsignedmycellphone..." - I've never heard anyone talk so much without pausing! LOL

Then, we found where their cars were exiting. We saw a whole bunch of stars leaving in their Disney chauffeured cars/vans. Jason Earles from Hannah Montana actually had his driver stop the car so he could make sure the girls had gotten autographs. They had gotten them inside, so they thanked him profusely for stopping. At that point, they realized that the next car held the JB and Mr. Jonas and the boys were all waving to them.

Mitchell Musso waved and winked.

Cody Linley was waving and they didn't even notice at first.

My DD's friend is madly in love with Martin from DC France.

What a day.

What a ride home - they didn't stop talking the whole time! LOL

I went today and yesterday and today seemed better because they showed what they were filming on the screens so the people in the seats could see. I met like 15 stars today and 11 yesterday and the Jonas Brothers twice! I even got hugs from Joe and Kevin!

My dad was talking to a cast member who seemed to really know what he was talking about and he said that they aren't sure if they are going to keep Thursday open to the public because they are really mad about all the people taking pictures.

In case anyone was worried about Miley not being there on Saturday because of this big photo mess I heard tonight on Entertainment tonight that although Disney wants her to keep a low profile she will be in Orlando on Saturday for the DC Games concert. I am sooo happy because I am looking forward to seeing her as much as the kids!!! We fly out Thursday morning and are going to the games in the afternoon. I can't wait to get there. I have never been to Disney before and feel so lucky to be there during the games too. See you all Thursday.

As far as the cameras go, the reason for not taking pictures was so the team information and colors was not to be leaked until the actaul showing of the games in July. It's not Disney's fault that everyone takes the pictures of the kids while in their uniforms for the different teams and take pictures of the actual production. It's spoiling it for the people that just want pictures with their kids with the stars. They had no problem with people taking pictures until things started leaking last year and of course that's already happened this year TOO. People are not interested in the games by the time the show actual airs because all of the team colors are out, they know the games that were played and usually KNOW the outcome. ( being taped Friday and closed to the public)

so you can thank the one's that have taken pictures and posted them publicly and for leaking information. This is why we CAN'T HAVE CAMERAS

Maybe if Disney made us sign a waiver to the effect that we could take pictures with our children with the stars, and not release these to the public, any track it then maybe we could do this.

SO NOW WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR TO FIND OUT IF WE ARE EVEN ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE NEXT YEAR OR IF THEY WILL BE CLOSE TO EVERYONE EXCEPT THE HIRED/ PAID EXTRAS.

Aren't the teams already posted!!! I can't see where the pictures taken with fans during autograph signings would be harmful at this point! I agree about footage from the acutal games, especially ones showing the final outcome. We ourselves are not arriving until Friday and are not able to see any of the DCG's, but we were fortunate enough to see the filming for the opening and closing ceremonies last year. It was the "best day of her life" according to my DD12!! She has autographs from Miley and Corbin and pictures of Jonas Brothers and countless others! I am happy for those who get to experience it with their kids this year! We are disappointed that Friday is closed to the public, but we will "make do" with the concert on Saturday (ha ha).
Kudos to Disney for loosening up and not disappointing their fans!
Another thing... how do you think the stars would feel if there were only a bunch of middle aged women and men hanging out with their young children waiting quietly for photo ops etc? I agree that some of the behavior of the unsupervised teens is rude... but that is the fan base!!!! Especially for the Jonas Brothers.... This is NOT Playhouse Disney...

the team lineup was posted by a fan not disney or hal to begin with, as well as pictures with the kids in their team colors and on youtube videos' of the stars on the field. yes the information is already out but it wasn't suppose to let out this year because so many people wasn't interested in the DCGAMES when they aired last year.
